"This was our second year staying Belle La Vie. This is an annual girl's trip and we had never stayed at the same place more than once until this place. We all have different things that we want when staying somewhere and nowhere had ever met all the wishes until Belle La Vie. There are 8 women that go on this trip ranging in age from 44 to 70 and this place works for all of us. We have water access & plenty of sleeping & lounging space. We will definitely be back as long as they have us."

"The view, the property, the amenities… it’s the gift that keeps on giving. We didn’t want to leave. On our second day, we did a morning fishing tour and a sunset cruise with Down South Toledo Guide Service (recommended by the owner). They picked us up and dropped us off at our dock which was SO convenient. We had good luck fishing and got to cook a delicious dinner with the super well equipped kitchen after. The funky shower heads could use some updating, but this is truly a minor detail...

"Overall nice accommodation. It was a short stay as I was just visiting my sons for the weekend. A wonderful bed and sofa stands out. Enjoyed using the gas grill. Clean, modern and nicely decorated. I liked the rooster decorations. No complaints but maybe spend a few bucks on plastic ice trays and keep them in the freezer for drinks."

"We came for the weekend and we can’t say enough good things. It was just what we were looking for. Quiet and secluded feel. Brought our boat and went out fishing each day. Kids LOVED everything about our stay. We can’t wait to come back! Patti made everything so easy. She accepted every request we had and made us feel like family. The outdoor bathroom and shower were so fun and a big hit!"

"You know I expected a lot more from this hotel, we had problems from the start. Out toilet seat fell off before we used it, we were told they didn’t have a maintenance crew so they had to wait for the manager they offered to move us to another room but we had unpacked and were leaving for a wedding in another town we just ask that it be fixed.
