Gorgeous historic mansion

My group had the best time in this beautiful home. The oven was out of order and we ended up with a broken toilet seat, but those were very minor issues. The property manager allowed us to drop our luggage at the house prior to check in, which was greatly appreciated. Our stay was absolutely lovely and we had more than enough space in this stunning, old home.

Essence Fest Stay

This was our second time staying at this property, and it was everything we remembered! Kurt and Courtney are excellent, the house is gorgeous and fully stocked! They even had a bottle of champagne for us!! Do Not Book this property in July, it belongs to me!!

What a gem- hope we can stay again!

Everything was just lovely! The photos don’t do this home justice. The incredibly high ceilings give the space a sense of openness and quiet luxury, and the exposed brick walls add so much New Orleans charm. We were in town for our wedding, and this home was the perfect place to stay and celebrate with our closest friends and family.It comfortably sleeps 12, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel at home. The primary shower is absolutely fantastic—spa-like and spacious—and every room felt thoughtfully designed and well-appointed. The decor strikes a perfect balance between historic character and modern comfort.The location is ideal, right in the heart of the Lower Garden District. We walked to coffee shops, restaurants, and caught the streetcar easily. The host was responsive and helpful, and the house was spotless when we arrived.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during such a special time. We’d love to come back!

Fabulous House!!!

We felt like locals. We got to walk all along this beautiful district. Many delicious restaurants walking distance. Would love to return and will tell anyone that is going to NOLA what a fabulous house this is. HIGH ceilings. Luxurious details. Beautiful antiques. Thank you thank you!!!

The Perfect Home Away From Home

We rented the property for my wedding weekend so my family would have a home base to stay and my bridesmaids and I would have a spacious place to get ready wedding day. The home was absolutely perfect for everything. My family with my neice and nephews had the best time being able to be all together but also spread out enough to have our own areas/rooms. The home was perfect for both hair and makeup set ups for getting ready wedding day and the owner and property manager had so many aspects of the home ready to go for any needs and were available if any potential issue arises. It can be difficult to get married in a city you don’t live in and have to live out of a suitcase for such an important weekend but this property felt every bit of our home for the weekend and we couldn’t imagine it any other way. Many memories were made and we are so thankful for such a beautiful property we were able to capture many photos in. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!

NOLA Wedding for our Beautiful Daughter

This was the perfect house for our family over a long weekend for our Daughters Wedding. Everything was great, the house layout, good parking and the property management staff was great. Stay at "The King", you won't regret it.

Love love loved this property! Everything was as pictured, beautiful large spaces. Big enough for everyone to spread out. Location was perfect. House stayed cool through out the day which is important in New Orleans heat! Almost don’t want to leave this review I would prefer to keep this place a secret!

Exceeded expectations

This place is even better than the photos! So much space and so many bathrooms for a larger group. The stairs were a little narrow, but otherwise our stay was great! Would highly recommend this VRBO to other groups staying in the area.

Amazing stay at this Magazine Street mansion…

The location was perfect with close proximity to great shopping and restaurants in the Garden District as well as a very quick cab ride to the Quarter. Communication with the team on site was excellent before and during the stay. There were five of us that stayed this weekend, but we could’ve easily accommodated, three or four more people. I highly recommend this property.

Great Place for a Big Party

Amazing place for a big group! We had 10 adults and easily fit with a few sharing a king size bed. Close to many good restaurants and coffee shops and short Uber rides to both Bourbon St and Frenchmen. Thanks for having us in your amazing home!

Christmas/Birthday Celebration

We have been spending xmas in New Orleans for the last few years to have family time and celebrate xmas birthdays. This location was my favorite so far. The neighborhood is great with so many cafes and resturants within walking distance. The home is just beautiful and very comfortable. We had more than enough room for everyone to spread out and have personal space when they needed it and large common areas for everyone to come together. Would absolutely stay here again!!

So lovely!

Kurt and his property manager went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. They respond immediately to any need or question. The home is beautiful, tasteful, and in a great neighborhood- convenient to everything, but away from the chaos. Many stairs but very spacious. Neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops within an easy stroll.

Incredible Stay

Truly the best experiences I’ve ever had staying at a rental property. We were here for a bachelorette so it was a big group of women and every single one of us loved the place. Courtney the property manager was an absolute dream to work with and made our stay so easy and incredible. We loved everything about the house and our stay here. I’m hoping for another big group visit to New Orleans so we can stay here again!

Fabulous Family Getaway!

The KING was perfect for our 2-family getaway! The house is beautiful, well supplied, and in the perfect location between the French Quarter and Garden District. The property manager was quick to answer questions and make recommendations. NOLA is one of our favorite cities, and we will definitely want to stay there again.

Great Place for Family Gathering

Huge place with LOTS of room. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice meal, although there are so many amazing places nearby you may just want to eat out. Owner was VERY responsive and helpful. We'll be back!

Fabulous!

We rented The King on Magazine while in NOLA for my daughter's wedding. The house is gorgeous - spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The pictures don't capture the massive scale of this incredible home. The owner and house manager were extremely responsive to any questions or issues that popped up. Highly recommend this property!
