The one good thing about this place is the dock.
The house felt like a motel. A ticky-tacky McMansion for tourists. Rubber sheets were nasty feeling and sweaty and uncomfortable.
The number of staircases was like climbing mount doom... The laundry is at the top of the 3rd floor! And you're required to wash stuff, or you get fined, so it matters .
Cameras are everywhere, inside the house as well as outside, that's creepy, who gets the recordings? The neighbors just glared and would not even wave back when greeted.
You may not use any of the 1st floor, and 2 bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. The only other doors that open in the whole house is a closet at the very top of the 3rd floor with a washer and dryer in it. You don't get any of the 1st floor, no use of the garage even tho it's pictured, no pantry as mentioned, just an open room to serve as kitchen, bar, living room, and dining room and 2 bedrooms, all on the 2nd floor. The elevator opens on a locked door and more stairs back down. The place is confusing and tiring to navigate.
The only lagniappe was 2 pints of cheap no-name liquor and 3 water bottles. We ran out of TP on the second night. We left more supplies than we were provided.
The rules mention high dollar fines, some were for losing the key, or for dropping litter or cig butts... but there were tons of butts all over the yard! So they fine you but don't use the money to pick up after their last guests? Or do they leave new butts out? Take your pre-rental due diligence pics of this stuff, fair warning!
The contact was half nutso too, she was super fake-friendly and so unhelpful and oblivious to our concerns, it was beyond rude, it was crazy. She kept repeating that she was unable to do anything about any one of our several issues, and telling me we signed the agreement over and over, and telling me not to hang up until I was 'happy'. How is that ok, to say, "No I will not and can not help you with TP or parking, but do not hang up, don't hang up until you're happy!" She said that like 10 times... Never once offered to help tho!
All in all, the house is too far away from town to be convenient. With a wonky host, tenants trying to be inconspicuous as they take out the trash or whatever, add it all up, fines, the rubber sheets, creepy cameras, and many many many flights of stairs, I wish I had kept looking.
