Wonderful
Beautiful clean modern cabin. In a great area of the Hudson valley. Hikes for the Dog. Wonderful nearby town of New Paltz. And great food and restaurants Aster was always available for advise.

We had an incredible stay at this gorgeous home with cozy fireplace and breathtaking views of the Shawangunk mountains. The home was beautifully furnished and well-equipped, making it feel like a luxurious home away from home. We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful cottage. Inside, it was comfortable and well-appointed, and the views outside were spectacular. The outside spaces in particular, both the porch and fire pit area, were wonderful, and the location is so convenient. Highly recommend!

Adorable, and tastefully decorated house with the perfect view of the Mohonk Tower. The owners attention to detail was much appreciated. The kitchen was so well stocked! Can’t wait to return. Very close to the bike trail into New Paltz, or south into town of Gardiner.

Outstanding!
A very nice place in every way,higly recommended! The only thing which is hardly worth mentioning was there were no lights of any kind by the Campfire, so i wished I had 2 arms while making Smores & held flashlight lol!-but hey,still worth it & I'd like to go again sometime!

Quaint Cottage Paradise
Our stay at this quaint cottage was an absolute delight! The attention to detail in the decor and amenities made it feel like a true home away from home. The thoughtfulness of the hosts was evident everywhere we looked - from the cozy yet stylish furnishings to the stocked kitchen with all the essentials. We were able to truly relax and unwind in this charming space. The cottage's location was ideal for exploring the area, while also providing a peaceful retreat to return to at the end of the day. We've stayed in a number of VRBOs and none have been as well-appointed and welcoming as this Mountain View Escape home. Privacy and space, while close to wonderful towns and places to explore. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a hiking vacation!
We had an excellent stay at this cabin. Check-in and checkout were smooth and easy. The interior was super cozy, well-decorated, and very clean, with an impressively well-stocked kitchen. Almost all the major hikes in the area were 10-15 minutes away, and New Paltz was just as close. Aster was very responsive and gracious as a host, and even allowed us to stay a few extra hours so we could watch the solar eclipse from the backyard. Only regret was not making use of the fire pit.

An amazing, relaxing weekend at the perfect cabin!
We went for the weekend to get away with our pup and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay!! If you’re thinking about booking don’t hesitate. Aster was very communicative from the point I booked and check in and out couldn’t be easier. The home is beautiful. From the moment you step in you feel relaxed in this cozy cabin. The attention to detail is phenomenal and the kitchen is well stocked with anything you could need during your stay. We will be back and recommend the cabin to family and friends!

Wonderful getaway
The location was beautiful - open sky for star gazing (when it wasn’t rainy) and a great yard for us to give Cully a good romp. The home is comfy and stylishly decorated. Aster was a very generous hostess and very welcoming. We hope to be able to come back again.

Perfect in every way!
We travel around the northeast to compete in dog sports with our dogs and we have stayed in many rentals. This rental was, hands down, the best place we’ve ever stayed! Beautifully decorated, fantastic shower, enormous comfy bed, lovely yard. If we come back to the area next season, we will definitely rent again (so long as they will have us!).

Five star experience!!! We enjoyed our stay in Aster’s beautiful home. The furnishings were gorgeous and host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The house had everything you would expect in a rental and more! It was fun watching the deer come up and eat the pears that had fallen off the tree. We had a wonderful time. Perfect spot for an engagement!
Booked this property with the intention of proposing to my partner - which I did by the fire pit on our first night there (she said yes!) The property was immaculately clean and charming beyond belief. The complimentary refreshments and wine were an excellent touch! We barbecued both nights, followed by a fire in the gorgeous pit overlooking the mountains. We will 100% be back.
