Easy drive to Purdue
Stayed here at the end of the spring semester to help my son move out of his apartment and make the drive back to NC. Location is convenient to campus (25 minute drive) but far enough away to offer a peaceful stay. Owners were extremely accommodating and responsive. They also provided helpful local information before my stay. Rental was very clean and comfortable. Great river view.

Quiet three day stay on the river
My wife and I recently met an old friend here so we could relax along the river and visit the old haunts of our youth. Our host was great! The cabin was very clean and as advertised. The owner even arranged for us to have good weather! I'm confident we will be back!

Amazing Stay!
This home was immaculately clean and the owners were extremely accommodating. We were awed by the beauty of the property and surrounding area. The view of the river from every window in the back was splendid! Great thought was given to every detail in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living area for a welcoming stay. Thank you!

Wonderful stay!
This was our 3rd trip here and we had another wonderful experience. Clean and quiet accommodations, fast communication with hosts, and everything was described. We enjoyed lots of time on the deck by the water and campfires at night. Will definitely stay again!

The view was amazing, my family floated the river our first day of arrival, seeing bald eagles and large fish! The deck was nice to sit and watch..My first time staying in a place with only 1 tv, but really I think it’s cool, because it pushes you to enjoy the outside rather than sitting up in the house..

Wonderful getaway
This is our second time staying here this year. I came in March for a girls getaway and we loved it so much that I booked for the summer with my kids. The house is so clean and well supplied. The kids enjoyed swimming in the river and watching the resident eagles fly by. Greg stopped by with sticks for s’mores and he was so friendly. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay and connect with nature. Family had fun fishing. Place was very clean and stocked with family needs for a fun comfortable time. Highly recommend this place. Hosts communicate well thru out the reservation process and stay .

Absolutely everything we needed
We were looking for a calm, peaceful, relaxing weekend away and that’s exactly what we found here. The owners are fabulous, the house is immaculate and thoughtfully stocked with all you need for linens and appliances. The furniture was all comfortable and well placed. The fishing was good, we got a big bluegill and a channel cat which was exciting! We will be back again to enjoy this little slice of heaven!

Quiet Serenity on the River
Terrific and caring hosts, very easy to communicate with. Nice, clean and well appointed property with quiet and peaceful location on the river. Easy 30 minute drive to Lafayette area and Purdue. Nice little towns nearby where we found great restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and breweries. Overall, excellent stay!

Delightful stay, Great place.
This was a wonderful place to stay. The entire weekend was delightful, and the hosts anticipated everything we could want or need. The river was beautiful, and the entire area was peaceful. The cottage was just close enough to West Lafyette to make getting to commencement a breeze, but far enough out for us to enjoy the solitude.

The perfect weekend getaway
This house is perfect for a few friends to gather. It is a simple house, but the host have provided all that you might need. Plus the windows looking right out on the river make this place a great house to spend a few days. The host were welcoming and easy to communicate with. We had no issues at all, and enjoyed our stay.

Next level hospitality!
Horseshoe Bend was a great option for our girls' scrapbooking weekend! Greg and Jeri were awesome to work with and really provided a great stay, with extra little touches that made us feel welcome. The house was very clean and the kitchen was stocked. We were able to make our own meals, but they also provided us with helpful recommendations for the area for eating out. My sister already booked another stay for her family, and we will absolutely be looking at Horseshoe Bend again for our next girls' weekend!
