"This home was a good stop on our waterfall tour. The home was clean, easy to find, check in and out. My only regret is I misread the sleeping accommodations. I thought there were two queen log beds and two other twin beds. One of the queen beds was the sofa sleeper. It was comfortable enough just not what I thought. "

"The house was very clean and had everything we needed for two families. We appreciated the large dining room table and upstairs tv room so the kids had a space while the parents chatted on the comfy front porch. We found that the activity in the prison yard across the street added interest and entertainment rather than create a negative element to our stay. We’d love to return someday."

"Had a great stay at this lake home. Very close to all the Pictured Rocks sites to see. Lots of things to do at the property itself, kids loved kayaking, swimming and fishing off the pier. Also very nice sunrises from the edge of lake.The family has already asked to go back next summer! Would highly recommend for a peaceful, secluded lakeside vacation rental. "

"I still consider this a 5 star stay but there are some things I think would be helpful for future guests. 1) There is no place to put anything. No dressers, nor usable closets, no space in the bathroom for anything. You will live out of your suitcase and because there is no room for that either, you will have to get everything put away each time you use it. 2) similar to the above, because the kitchen is well stocked with basic essentials, there is nowhere to put food away. "The cabin was clean and cozy. Enjoyed the bonfire every night and lake view. Sondra was very nice and enjoyed her visits. She got me a different lawn chair to sit in as I couldn’t sit in those low chairs after hip surgery and need a knee replacement. The tv was hard to figure out .Would tell people about this place. We would come back in the future."
