Just what we were looking for!
This place was just what we needed while staying a week for a softball tournament. We had the amenities of being at home instead of cooped in a hotel room for a week. The home is lovely and the scenery and wildlife were definitely a bonus. The hosts were wonderful and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again when in this area.

Indiana Experience
The property was as expected from the listing. It was perfect for our stay. The area was quiet and peaceful, but close enough to travel to Evansville for our planned events. Everything was provided and the property was very clean and comfortable. Great communication and we were able to check in a little early upon our arrival. And we did see the turkey in the yard on our last morning! Thanks, I will stay again if ever in the area.

Solar Eclipse Weekend
The property was as advertised? Clean and charming 1950's ranch in the country. We enjoyed watching the wildlife, turkey, deer, blue birds, and a quick look at a ground hog. It was perfectly quiet and just relaxing, but very close to Downtown, restaurants, Angel Mounds, and grocery store. It was all we needed to celebrate my Husband's 60th and view the Solar eclipse.

Quiet Neighborhood
My siblings and I stayed here while we did some genealogy research and it worked out great. Nothing fanny but clean and comfortable. Saw deer and wild turkey in the yard in the mornings.

Perfect for a long weekend
My daughter and I were attending an event in Evansville, and this property was a perfect location to relax after busy days. The home was clean and well cared for, and the surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. There is easy access to both Evansville and Newburgh for eating or entertainment. We would definitely stay here again!

Quick 3 day trip to Evansville area with family.
Process and communication with owner was very good. House and location were great for our short stay in February and the back yard and patio look nice for warmer months. House was a good value and had all the basics we needed. Minutes from big name stores in strip malls or the quaint downtown Newburgh, but in a quiet secluded area.

Holiday visit with family
A nice 3-bedroom house in a quiet but convenient location. We were a party of 6 - 4 adults and 2 children (4 & 6). The open floor layout between the living room and kitchen was ideal for the 2 grandkids. Having access to attached 2 car garage was a plus in December. Check in and check out was straight forward and communication with owner was easy. The only inconvenience was no dishwasher or clothes washer and dryer. We knew this beforehand because the description was clear that the house did not have these appliances. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Very clean
Very clean property. The beds were comfortable also. It has an old midwestern vibe to it that they are trying to maintain (which is nice). I would have rated it higher if there was a 2nd shower and exhaust fans in the bathrooms, but they didn’t build houses like that in 1950 so that is part of the vibe of the house.

We really enjoyed the screened in front porch and the back porch as well. Access to the 2 car garage was a huge plus. The house was very clean and Jon was very responsive to a few questions we had.

Quiet country location within minutes to everywhere
Our party was 6 of us, including our son and daughter-in-law and two young grandkids. It was great to have the open floor plan kitchen and living area so that the kids could run around without worrying about how loud they were. Nearly everything to take care of a 2 and 4 year old was there. We would suggest a booster seat be added.

Quiet rental perfect with kids
This is a nice three bedroom ranch in the country outside Newburgh (well, country currently—it looks as though a lot of new residential development is going on in the area). Property is probably of about 1950s-1960s vintage, but was maintained and clean, and very reasonably priced for the area. Situated on a beautiful yard with flowers, some swing benches, and plenty of space for kids to run around. Great communication from owners, who always responded very quickly as questions arose (mainly on check in and check out procedures as those didn’t populate on VRBO for whatever reason), but easy process nonetheless. I used the property as a base to visit some of the surrounding area. Evansville is just minutes away, 15 mins or so to Henderson, KY (Audubon State Park), and even some of the recreational opportunities in southern Illinois were in reasonable striking distance (90 mins or so to Cave in Rock and Garden of the Gods). House was well set up for kids (some toys in closet, playpen, etc.), though most of the time I was there my son preferred to be outside running around or swinging on the play set. Would recommend this rental when visiting the area—was nice to be in a quiet area in the evenings.
