Positives: Room was newly remodeled and clean. Negatives: There is NO ONE on site to help with ANY issues and extreme difficulty contacting anyone to help. You check in/check out by phone. Had an issue with people running up and down halls, yelling, slamming doors, and playing loud music until 2am but no way to contact anyone to intervene. I tried texting, emailing and calling at the time and the next day. Talked to a remote message taker the next day, asked for a room change that night, and he said they’d get back to me in a day or two; still haven’t heard back now more than 48h later, after I’ve already left. Very frustrating and VERY poor service. I also DID NOT FEEL SAFE as a solo woman traveller. There was no lock/key card access on the exterior of the building so anyone could have walked in, day or night. It’s basically an exterior corridor hotel. As mentioned previously, though, unlike an exterior corridor hotel, there was also NO STAFF there if something were to happen. Based on the prior reviews I was excited to stay here but so disappointed in the end. Take caution when thinking to book this hotel.

It was self check-in so no staff was around. Because of this there was no one to monitor activity and there were guests in the lobby area and hallways until 2AM. The internet TV went out so couldn't use that to block any noise. There was a number to text issues to. I text twice and no one contacted me.

Very disappointed with this hotel and will not return. We arrived and left shortly afterward to meet friends for dinner, but the door to our room would not lock. It is an electronic keypad lock. The locking feature did not work. A hotel employee called the manager who was offsite and they assured me that they would fix it. We took our valuables with us, but left our suitcases. When we returned hours later the door was still unlocked. Anyone could have entered our room while we were gone. Fortunately, the deadbolt lock did work while we stayed in the room overnight. The next morning, while taking a shower, and having my head totally lathered up in shampoo, the water stopped. Completely! Not even a dribble or drop! Funny now, maybe, but I was ripping mad at the time. After about 3-4 minutes the water came back on. It was a long 3-4 minutes not knowing whether or when the water would come back on. Furthermore, we were on our way to attend a Memorial service, so that made this situation even more difficult. But wait! There’s more. The room was dirty. The floor had not been vacuumed in a while and there were crumbs, or something, on the little dinette table in the room. Lastly, nobody ever followed up about the door not being fixed as promised. When we checked out in the morning, nobody was at the front desk to speak to. You simply checkout using a tablet on the counter. No need to speak to an unhappy customer I guess. Terrible experience.

The rooms were ok. I really did not like how there was no staff at all. If you had any questions or concerns you had to call a number at a call center and they would relay your issues to the property. We got locked out of our room and if the nice housekeeper was not there, who knows how long it would have taken to get in contact with someone to help us. Also, for the price of thses rooms, some sort of continental breakfast would have been nice. This is a rural area with no options for coffee or breakfast nearby. Honestly, i would not stay here again and we actually left a night early to come home because the beds were not very comfy either.

The entire weekend no one was present at the property to help. The code locks were malfunctioning constantly for me and for other guests and we had no one to talk to either at the hotel or on the phone. Ridiculous, none of us really felt safe since the locks were sketchy at best

The style of the room was unique and cozy. Definitely made our stay more comfortable, even though we were only staying for a day. Appreciated the convenience of the tablet to check in and check out.

Comfortable hotel with a retro vibe. Rooms are a bit sparse, but they are modern, clean, and fairly spacious. Rooms feature updated bathrooms, smart TV’s and super comfortable beds. This hotel is great value for the price. Highly recommend, would stay here again.

VERY disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance. My 4 year old was so excited to swim and one of the reasons we chose this location was the pool and it was closed. Definitely bummed.

Been here many times and this place has really gone down. No personal service upon arrival , no pool which is advertised on the website vending machines not available area in the Back with rusted chairs and no access to the building with keycard. This was unacceptable when blue bird was running the hotel. Made it a tradition to go with my daughter every year. No longer

We come to the area to visit with family and have stayed at this hotel each time. It is centrally located for us and provides a lobby where we can visit with local family members. It would be more convenient if there were provisions for breakfast because there are very few locations offering breakfast in the area.

Staff are excellent at this hotel however the neighbors were very loud and inconsiderate a door alarm went off at 5 AM and there was nobody there to help get it shut off and it was very annoying
