There is a limited number of accommodations on Gabriola Island and we were happy. We chose this one. There was an outdoor hot tub available however we didn’t use it. "The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. "I loved this place, it was amazing, honestly! There was some damages to the walls when i got there and some patch work that needed painting. But i was so looking forward to a warm bath. And then i find the drains been broken. Other than that it was bad. Maybe a rug under the bed."
