"Lovely little cottage, exactly as described and with everything you could need. Very grateful for the logs, which made for cosy evenings. The car parking was a little challenging, but we were made aware this could be the case, but luckily found spaces nearby. Thank you Mark and Fiona for looking after us so well! "

"A really lovely place to stay with everything we needed. Perfect location for exploring the far west of Cornwall and our l planned visit to the Minack. Friendly host who kindly found some picture books for our 4year old to enjoy during her stay. Super view out of the window- there’s always something to watch in the harbour or in Mounts Bay. Definitely plan to return. "

"Herbert Cottage is right in the middle of everything Newlyn, an active yet picturesque fishing village with great restaurants & cafe has to offer. Just a short stroll to Penzance &short car rides to all the lhighlights it’s really well situated. Although centrally located it’s peaceful & quiet with everything you could want. Lenn was a great host"

"This property in Newlyn, just along the Promenade from Penzance, is all it says it is and so much more. On arrival, we were immediately stunned. The descriptions and photos do not fully capture how wonderful and well located this property is. With views over the bay, we watched the fishermen come and go, and we were able to treat ourselves to the local catch a couple of times. And what a great base from which to explore western Cornwall. Hope we can stay again!"

"Just as advertised. We had a lovely stay for 2 weeks in March.Easy walk to town, good parking for Cornwall, Will come again. Only negative, no recycling bins for glass/ plastic etc. Just seems wrong these days."
