Newport cottage

Had a great stay. Views of the Yaquina Bay were a highlight. Clean and cozy. The boy wants to give a special shout out to Chewby, a neighborhood cat that befriended him.

Perfect Cozy Getaway with an Amazing View

We had an incredible stay at this beach house! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the cozy cabin vibe made it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was ideal—just a short walk to Bayside restaurants and stores. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved the cute and cozy gas stove, which added such charm. The backyard was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. It’s a great spot for a couple, with room for one more if needed. Highly recommend this gem for a relaxing escape!

Great stopover spot!

We were traveling home and decided to stay here for 1 night to repack/reset before hitting the road again. It was a great little spot! We loved the views of the boats and the sea lions. It’s studio style with a twin bedroom. The studio bed isn’t the most comfortable since it’s a Murphy bed style, but it was still great. Bathtub and bathroom were fantastic!

Always nice here!

We have stayed here many times and always love the area and location of this cottage. Since there is pay to park below it’s very convenient to be so close, and good to walk off all the treats!! We had very nice weather and the day it rained we did shopping and enjoyed the stove. It makes it so cozy. We will be back many more times for sure. We call it home away from home.

Great Stay

Small older home overlooking the bay. Ideal for one or two people. Well stocked, in good shape and very clean. Easy walk to bayfront and short drive for beach access.

Wine and Seafood Festival

My wife and I spent 4 nights here in the Arden cottage. It was as advertised. Very nice views, close to everything. We liked the stove in the living room, cheerful as well as warming. The heated bathroom floor was also very nice. We had a great experience!

Lovely nest

Our party of three “older” ladies loved the location and watching all the bay/river traffic!! Chamber of Commerce weather was a bonus!! Kitchen was well stocked!! The only suggestion would be to replace the furniture. It was a bit worn and uncomfortable and rather crowded in the space. Thanks for the great visit!! Thanks for the great

Bay Overlook

Great, small space overlooking the bay. Watch the boats and sea lions going on and out. Lit up at night is really beautiful. Close to bay front, restaurants and beach access. Home is older and in great shape but probably not a place for young children?

Newport Gem

Winter getaway in a cozy cottage. We were warm and dry in the storm. Amazing views of weather, birds, and boats. Cottage has been lovingly updated as if the owner would live there.

Filthy

Our experience was not too good. This cottage is deceiving by looking at the ad and google earthing. This is a shared connection to the owners house, it’s old, smells moldy and floors feel mushing like it has no cement foundation, the furniture was dirty and big spot on couch smelt like pee, the throw rugs were full of soiled spots of dirt which you can tell have not been cleaned in awhile including the Murphy bed comforter, the couch bed, Murphy bed, and twin bed in little bedroom were cheap and very uncomfortable. The floors were not cleaned or forgotten to wash, the dishes/silverware were cheap, the 20 foot yard in back is embarrassingly share by owner and invasive We heard footstep noise in the crawl attic space above us at night, that’s attached to the owners house and felt like we were getting creeped upon that he was videoing us. We felt very uncomfortable and we were going to call the police to see what’s going on in the attic. You know when something isn’t right. 💥 Do not recommend whatsoever.
