Charming Retreat
Admiral Sims house was so charming and quaint. Our room was beautiful, clean and peaceful. Super high ceilings and natural light. The bed was sooo comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Marie and Shelley were a pleasure. We were walking distance to everything if you do t mind walking 15 min. We would definitely book the Admiral Sims house again.

This was the perfect place for my friend to stay while in Newport. It is perfect, off the beaten path, quaint and quiet, The owner (s)/staff were friendly and hospitable. Very comfortable.

Excellent property and management
The adm sims house is a beautiful old home. We stayed in a room with kitchenette. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable with all the needed amenities. Will definitely return. I highly recommend this property.

Exactly as advertised!
We were in Newport for a wedding, and Admiral Sims House was a perfect complement to our needs for the trip. Our hosts were extremely accommodating by letting us check in early, and the room was exactly as depicted on the VRBO website. While we did not stay long enough to utilize many of the amenities of the property, it is clear that the hosts have listened to feedback from guests and done their best to make your stay comfortable and easy. It was very nice to start our morning with in-room coffee, and then to sit in the gazebo outside and enjoy a snack before leaving. We plan to be back!

Everything about this place is absolutely lovely. It’s a very clean, newly decorated and spacious room. Perfect location for walking/uber ing to the wharf side. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Very cozy place to stay
This is a great place to stay in Newport. The house is amazing and the staff is very friendly. A breakfast bar is included and the room had a small kitchenette. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Perfect Stay
My daughter and I stayed one night at the Admiral Sims' House and it was wonderful! Excellent communication! Very welcoming and helpful, allowing us to check in early and great recommendations for dinner. Room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Great location and parking. Easy walk to the Cliff Walk and could easily walk up to town if we weren't so tired from taking on the full walk. Great stay!!! Thank you so much!

We stayed in the Ocean Room for 2 night on Catherine St. Everything was perfect! Very clean, great location. We didn’t eat breakfast because we actually slept in.
