Anniversary trip
My husband and I had a wonderful time in Newport. The condo was very clean. Great location. Would highly recommend this condo to anyone thinking about staying in Newport. So close to everything.

Very Disappointed
My family stayed here for a wedding. The location is outstanding but it was overall very disappointing. The property is extremely weathered. There are stains on the furniture, hair on the pillows and it was overall dusty/dirty. There is a patio looking out to the water but both of the sliding screen doors are broken and, on top of that, one had a big hole in the screen while the other screen was literally ripped in half with the bottom half missing. The sink in the en suite bathroom doesn’t drain and the shower head is so corroded that water spews out the sides. I reached out to the owner about these concerns and he did not respond. Buyer beware.

right in the heart of newport
if you are looking to be in the center of action, this place is for you. location is within walking distance of everything. bars, restaurants, bus depot, waterfront docks. unit was very clean and host has chips, salsa and wine complimentary for us upon arrival. the view from the balcony is great. you can see the water and looking right down on thames steet. you are literally right next to the red parot restaurant. bedrooms are spacious, beds were comforable. tv's were newer samsungs and all worked with cable and wifi connected. parking is in garage under the building and host allowed 2 spaces which was nice. its kind of tight if you have a large suv or truck, but you can squeeze in. if you are looking for an absolutely quiet area, you may want to keep in mind that you can hear people from the street if you have windows open. as thames can be noisey at night. we did not mind it. it was entertaining to watch below. overall a great unit. elevator and lower area could be nicer, but the unit was nice.

Girls Weekend
The apartment was exactly as described. It was clean, spacious and everything you needed was there. You can’t beat the location. We walked to everything. It was truly centrally located. We enjoyed the view from the deck. You will not be disappointed!!

Review
The owner didn’t return an inquiry sent thru app about property prior to our arrival. Numbers identifying parking spots ineligible-drove around one way block 8x trying to find these spots. Locked door from parking area found twice with tape covering lock mechanism, so door stayed open-no security cameras-this allowed anyone access to elevator leading to condo. Rugs in hall by elevator and inside elevator were soiled and smelly. Condo, it’s location and view were beautiful.

Superb Location!
Perfect location in the midst of eateries, shops, and attractions. Our family wedding venue and related events were within walking distance. The living space was very spacious, bright, clean, and amply furnished. All kitchen, bath, linens, etc. were available. Big windows on east and west and slider on the deck allowed the sunrise and sunset light to filter through during the day. The host was especially accommodating and responded to queries. Secured parking was essential. We have no reservations in recommending this lovely space.

Kenton was a great host and his condo is gorgeous, within walking distance to everything, and has covered parking. This is our favorite place to stay in all of Newport and we will be back. Thanks again for hosting our family!

No communication during our stay
The location is amazing for being in the middle of everything. You literally can walk everywhere. The initial communication with the owner was clear and organized. The home is well-stocked with towels, blankets, some snacks and drinks. The price point is about right for the area and square footage. This is not a "luxury" condo. I realize that the word is subjective, but this has (as one other reviewer put it) an industrial feel. It was basically clean, but the sheets, towels, appliances, walls/woodwork (everything but the master bathroom and kitchen cabinets and countertops) are subpar. Old and well-used. The lockbox to get into the unit is awkwardly above the trash dumpster (which always smelled terrible). The hallways and elevator to the unit were dirty (though obviously not the owners fault, but once again, not "luxury"). The location is right above businesses and right on the street of bars and restaurants. Especially on the weekend, it is noisy late into the night, and the noise in the morning starts early. The patio with the "stunning waterfront view" is a smallish balcony with folding chairs with a rather small view of the ocean. It's a nice view of the busy street below, trees and a small view of the water. There was a problem during our stay. I emailed via the website and tried to contact them via phone. No response at all. Even right now, after our stay, I have not heard from them. This is my main "want" of a VRBO, and they failed miserably.

Wonderful location
While I was a bit challenged by some of the technology, the place was comfortable, clean, and well supplied with the basics. We could have used linens on more of the beds upon arrival. We only prepared coffee, opting to go out to eat or get takeout. Tons of options and the Red Parrot right next door was amazing. The view from the balcony was wonderful for our traveler using a wheelchair. She could people watch all day! We would return and can recommend this condo.
