House was amazing inside and out! We had a full house but it never seemed crowded - two kitchens so helpful. We all enjoyed the fire pit and being able to cool off in the river! Any questions I had were answered right away. We all had a wonderful week.

Great house, great location
This is our second year back at this house. Love the property, location and amenities the house offers: sauna, pool table, hot tub, and the famous Sunday River for cold plunges! Bedrooms and beds are comfortable and appropriately sized, could use a few more room darkening shades in some of rooms for the bright sun reflecting off the snow. We will definitely be back!

Amazing getaway!
We couldn't have been happier with this house. The layout of the house is fantastic for families with kids. The proximity to the mountain was great. The sauna and jacuzzi was a super addition for post-ski relaxation.

This house was all we could imagine, and more! We had multiple families here- the open space, large kitchen and extended dining table were awesome and never felt crowded. The basement provided a perfect hangout space for the teenagers. The hot tub and sauna were a great relief after a full day of skiing! Would definitely recommend!

Great for groups!
Loved our stay at this home. Plenty of room for large groups yet still feels cozy. The kitchen is beyond well equipped. The bottom floor is amazing for the kids to hang out. We enjoyed our time around the fire pit and hot tub. The house is imacculately clean and the hosts are incredibly accomodatung - we'd rent again!

Amazing ski house for large groups!
This ski house is an A+! Large spacious plenty of spaces for everyone. The basement is absolutely ideal for kids and teens with a poker table, pool table, full kitchen fireplace hot tub s as bd sauna. Maine floor is beautiful with a fireplace, vaulted ceilings, stunning views. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need - everything! We would recommend this house and rebook again!

Sunday River Summer Vacation
We had a wonderful time on our vacation in Sunday River! The home was beautiful and the beautiful location directly on the river was great! The home was well appointed with everything we needed, annd enjoyed the hiking, swimming and hot tub! Bethel had some good restaurants for eating out, especially the Sugar Shack and Smokin Good BBQ!

Amazing house!
What a special house for a great family vacation! It is located right on a river. The kids had an awesome time looking for frogs and walking upstream where the water is deep enough to swim. The kitchen is well stocked. The back deck was amazing for lounging at the fire pit with beautiful views of Sunday River for coffee in the morning or hanging out at night. There was so much to do at the house for all ages: hot tub, game room, gas fireplaces when it gets chilly that we spent most of the time there even though there is plenty to do nearby. We were all sad to leave at the end of the week but look forward to a future return!

Our family vacation includes 16 people. This house accommodated us perfectly! The space is fabulous, the river is so much fun, hot tub and sauna really nice where the weather was slightly cool. The house is beautifully stocked we had more than what we would ever need! Hope to return next summer

The Vacation House with Many Extras
Overall, this vacation house exceeded our expectations! The house offers 2 floors with 2 kitchens and plenty of space to comfortability accommodate 2 families. The close proximity to the Sunday River allows for water activities for all. The house also has a hot tub and sauna as extras. The gas fireplace on the 2nd floor is a plus also. The bedrooms are spacious, and bathrooms are complete. Kitchens are versatile! Many games on the bottom floor. Improvement suggestions would include labeling the light switches, adding safety bars to the showers and bathtubs for physically challenged, adding better instructions for tv audio system, and including a journal for feedback to the owners. We still give this house 5 stars!

Family ski trip 2023!
This was our second time staying here and we loved it once again! Gorgeous and generous space. Accommodations are great. We had everything we needed. Second kitchen came in handy for extra fridge space and the oven (upstairs oven was under repair). We always plan our trip end of season and sometimes find low supplies and problems with upkeep but all was in order!

New Year’s Weekend getaway
Our large group enjoyed the house very much. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to make all our meals at home. We even had a bonfire by the river and cooked some kielbasas. Hot tub and sauna were great after skiing. We hope to come back soon!

What an amazing and beautiful home! The house is so well appointed, with every detail thought through for comfort and enjoyment. The house is very spacious and the views are spectacular! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. It was fun to walk along Sunday River (water shoes are a good idea). We enjoyed the pool table in the lower level and the hot tub outside. There is so much to do in the area. We did several hikes: Screw Auger Falls, Moose Cave, Step Falls, and Frenchman’s Hole. We walked the Bethel Pathway and strolled through Bethel Village to look at the historic homes. We enjoyed whoopie pies and maple cream cookies from a roadside pie shop. Stop in at The Good Food Store for deli sandwiches and check out all the little treasures this store offers! We had great meals at: Millbrook Tavern, Butcher Burger, The Sugar Shack (ice cream), and Sunday River Brewing. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!!

Family Vacation
Property is beautiful....We stayed with our grown children and their families. Total of 8 Adults and 3 children. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. River was tough to access for us older folks and location of which bedrooms on which level would have been very helpful. All in all we had a wonderful time.

The listing description and pictures were exactly what we arrived to and then some. The house was clean and check in was easy. So much to do and explore at the house and area. We never even turned on any of the many TVs the house is equipped with. The house is huge and could easily host many guests. We loved our time to relax and escape!

Beautiful home near Sunday River
This was a lovely, clean mountain home that had lots of room to spread out for our family reunion (ages 11-72). We loved the well-equipped game room, open floor plan, and large enclosed deck with fire pit. We spent many late afternoons down by the river after days of hiking, kayaking, and exploring. Would love to return!

Great experience
Had a wonderful experience with my friends and their families. The stream was an awesome amenity for the kids. Sauna was refreshing. Hot tub needed repair, but this was coordinated with the owner and it worked well enough. The property was clean and beautiful and close to all kinds of outdoor activities for kids and adults.

Perfect house and location!
This house was everything advertised and more! No one wanted to leave at the end of our stay. We stayed with extended family with ages ranging between 1-60 years old and this house nailed it with everyone. We did adventure around to local attractions and towns but what we did the most and enjoyed the most was being at the house and hanging out in the river. It was absolutely perfect for the whole family. Super mellow and not deep so perfect for parents to sit and watch the little ones splash around. Walk a little bit up stream and it’s deep enough for the older kids and grown ups to swim. The kids also had a blast fishing up and down the river. The duel kitchens came in handy when cooking for a large group. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were large and welcoming. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. And that view! I could wake up to that everyday. Mornings on the deck with a cup of tea looking at the mountains, listening to the water, it was heaven! We will definitely be back to stay again. It was our first time visiting Maine and after staying at this house we are hooked!

Beautiful home in the mountains
This home was just as described- and even larger than we expected. It was clean, well laid out, beautiful spot on the river where the kids waded around and played. The hot was excellent and everything worked great. We had 5 adults, including 2 couples, 3 teenagers and an 11 year old and there was always enough space for everyone to do their own thing if they wanted to. I’d highly recommend it.

Absolutely wonderful
This was a terrific high end property by design but also felt totally low key and nestled beautifully into the surroundings. The place has ample space to be togrther and apart. Tons of pull out beds too if you have a big group. My favorite part aside from the river, was the steam shower!
