"The overall experience at the Garden Rooms was good. We would return, though there were a few things which disappointed us. The large sliding doors to the outside were very difficult to open. We are not feeble but it was almost impossible to slide due to being very heavy and stiff. The room itself smelt very strong of wood smoke from the chimnea, we did not use it during our stay. "The location is superb right on the water. The house is lovely and had everything we needed! We had a slight issue gaining access, but the host was very responsive and helpful, so it was resolved immediately. Would definitely recommend and stay again, our toddler didn't want to leave!"

"My friend and I found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped. Quiet location but an easy walk to the centre of Alnwick, the castle and gardens.
