Convenient location, a place to relax
Sea Glass Villa 2 was accurately depicted in the photos, and made for a mostly relaxing week, if you are willing to roll with the glitches on Andros (occasional power failures, no ATM, restaurants running out of food, all cash except for groceries and liquor, cash for rides to and from airport, cash for charter flights). We have experienced this all before on other Out Islands, except for the all cash part.
I did not realize that Villa 2 was attached to the main residence (must have missed that), but that was no issue for us. Villa 1 is standalone. If you are interested in Andros, then you are likely an adventurous sort who is not looking for a "resort-type" atmosphere. On the Out Islands beaches, especially if on the eastern (ocean) side, you are not going to see a perfectly manicured, groomed beach. We expected that; also, unfortunately, some trash can also wash up. That has nothing to do with the villa; it's just a sad fact of modern life.
The safe was not working while we were there and Francine offered to fix it, but we told Zona there was no hurry. We did not realize we had to ask for the beach chairs until our last day (bikes and chairs are locked up and you have to ask Zona).
One thing we enjoyed about this location was that you could walk down the path and be in Nicholls Town with access to some food and drink (Sly Fox on the Beach for Conch Salad, Cafe Loren, Driftwood, which was a short drive.
True to the name of the villas, I did find a LOT of sea glass!
