"Mark was very accommodating and my room was really big and comfortable Water pressure very good for having a shower I only stayed 1 night but I know the area very well and the guest house is a short walk from most places in town but quiet and peaceful guest house location Penrith is a beautiful picture postcard town and very handy base for traveling to the Lake District I will certainly be booking again I didn’t stay for breakfast but the menu look delicious "

"This is not a chain hotel...why would you want one? Where is the charm of living as the locals do? This place has that charm. This is a small business run by a very loving family. This is the authentic Blackpool experience. I have rarely seen people this welcoming and kind. Everyone was incredibly attentive and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. The breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed every moment of my interaction with the family that runs it. Highly recommended. "

"La habitación está bien, le falta un poco de luz pero imagino que en verano debe estar fenomenal. El problema viene cuando llega el fresco y entiendo que por ahorrar no ponen apenas la calefacción. Aparte de ello, desde el primer momento pedí una factura que finalmente no me han enviado ni hecho. El día de mi partida, habían avisado al fontanero a las 8:30 de la mañana, por lo que tuve que salir media hora antes de lo que pensaba."

"As it was an over 50’s Hotel it really was excellent for the price, the manager and the staff we met could not do enough for you, nothing was to much to ask, the breakfast was lovely and well prepared, coffee and tea really hot. "Excelente todo, precio, limpieza, atención, cercanía a transporte, supermercado, centro comercial y restaurantes (esto último es lo que más abunda en Manchester, así que hay siempre cerca de cualquier sitio. La única pega es que el colchón del sofá cama es un papel, vamos, que no se puede llamar colchón, o sea que el "niñ@" que duerme ahí se tendrá que adaptar a lo que hay. Por otro lado, no esperéis que entiendan ni hablen español, ni "hola", no solo en el hotel, en toda Manchester. El desayuno incluido y buffet, normal, estilo industrial, pero bastante completo. "
