Quick, Short Family Vacation
Our four-star rating (instead of 5) is circumstantial. The purpose for our vacation was to experience tubing on the Coralville Reservoir. We took our small boat with us and had no place to keep it in the water or conveniently park it on the trailer. If that information had been readily available, we might have made other plans. The property is beautiful! The location, north of Iowa City and south of Dubuque, was perfect. If you are happy looking at the water (not being in it), choose this property!

Amazing time!
The house was very accommodating for our family! Newly updated kitchen made it easy for us to be in there cooking and love the open floor concept! It was also a huge plus that it was furnished with what we needed only needed to bring food and drinks. The owners were super friendly and appreciate their hospitality. We enjoyed seeing the nature and having the peace and quiet out there. We will for sure be back for another visit!

Girls weekend away. We enjoyed the view from the deck, played lots of ping pong and sat around visiting and laughing. Great setup for our group! The weather and location was perfect for a November getaway!

Beautiful place, perfect space
This beautiful home was spacious and had great views. The ping pong table and bar was a great place to hang out. It had all the kitchen items we needed. The beds and couches were comfortable. Plus the place was so clean. It was awesome seeing the deer and birds, and hearing all the wildlife. The owners are top notch and so kind. We are definitely going back! Go Hawkeyes!

Weekend on the river.
The weekend we spent at this home was delightful! The deck with the view of the river was absolutely perfect for outdoor enjoyment and relaxation. River access may have been nice but was not necessary. Some naps were taken on the deck enjoying the great outdoors! Would love to stay here again!

Fantastic!!
A very clean home with a beautiful view!!! The kitchen has just been remodeled so pictures do not do this property justice!! We didn’t have time to rent a boat, but we fished a lot! The best fishing is down the road through the natural reserve path. Also be sure to check out Heyn’s for the very best homemade icecream!! We overpacked as this VRBO had everything you need for your stay! We will be back for sure!!

Vacation in North Liberty
My extended family and friends commented many times over our three day visit about how lovely, clean, and spacious the house was. The kitchen was completely equipped and the beds were comfortable. The full moon rising over the river was a beautiful sight. Perfect house for family get together with any ages. Our only disappointment was that there was no access to the rivet. The pictures of the house included a dock, but there was no dock at the house available for swimming, boating or fishing. We would have benefitted from more information about the location, and bedside lamps would be a welcome addition. We met our hosts, and they were lovely. I would certainly recommend this property to other families for vacations.

Well set up to gather and visit with family indoors or out on the deck. Spacious kitchen, dining, and living areas. Comfortable beds and everything very clean. Needs better lighting (bedside lamps for reading, lamps or dimmers on lights in living room). Well stocked kitchen except for a shortage of things to serve in and baking pans, mixing bowls if you want to bake something.

We had a girls weekend with 8 ladies who have been friends for 40+ yrs. The house was just as pictured. More than enough room for all of us to hang out together and plenty of beds for sleeping! Rick & Luan were amazing and very easy to be in touch with! Answered all questions very quickly! We all hope to make this a yearly event! Great location!

Great weekend!
Great home with views of the river and enough room for everyone. In town for the Iowa vs iowa State football game so location was perfect (not too far from the stadium). Home had all the amenities to make our stay pleasant. We would definitely rent again in the future.

A Great Place for an Extended Family Retreat
This was a great place for my husband and I to vacation together with our grown daughters and their families. We had a great time playing games, fishing, shopping at the Amana Colonies, and just being together in one place! Everyone commented on how much they really liked this house - it was perfect in every way! And it had everything we needed . . . from the utensils, coffee maker, pots and pans, to cable TV, internet access, and a gas grill! We will request this house again for our next stay in the area.
