The property is just as described in the listing. The location is excellent and the home had numerous amenities. We enjoyed being able to walk to Rum Point early mornings or in the evenings and just walk the shore or hang out. We used the kayaks to go out on the Bio Bay. The pool was just steps away. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment during our spring break in the Cayman Islands! The location was perfect — close to the beach, quiet, and very family-friendly. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the beautiful outdoor space. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island!

Relaxing Getaway

We had an amazing stay at the villa. The kids loved playing at the bay, swimming at the pool, and seeing the bioluminescence. The bikes were in good working order and we rode them down to the starfish point area.Rum Point was away from the hustle and bustle of 7mile beach. We were glad that we rented a car to get around. If you're looking for rest and relaxation this is definitely the area for it!RUM

April at Rum Point

Zuzanna was great at communicating everything that we needed to make for an enjoyable vacation at Rum Point. The amenities within the residence as well as those in the neighborhood were exactly what we were looking for. She also made some recommendations that were appropriate such as having a rental car. Definitely a must.

Just Perfect!

Barefoot Lagoon was JUST PERFECT! The layout was roomy, the kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook and/or grill, and the master bed comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms and the 2nd bedroom for clothes and getting ready was like being home! Pool and grounds were well maintained. Our favorite area was the 2-story lanai. Many evenings were spent there just relaxing and enjoying each other's company. This area of the island may be a bit remote for some looking for the action of SMB but was exactly what we were looking for. Rum Point Beach and restaurant is literally across the street for a great soft sand beach and snorkeling but don't hesitate to explore the North Side and East End! Some good restaurants in those areas! The ferry from Kaibo Beach to Camana Bay is only a couple of miles away if you want the nightlife. And if you're there at the right time kayaking the bioluminescent bay at night directly from the back sand yard and lagoon is worth the exercise. We wouldn't hesitate to rent Barefoot Lagoon again on our next trip to the island!

Rum Point - Villa

Loved the property! exactly as advertised lots of privacy on the Bioluminescent Bay side, and just a few steps to the Rum Point beach, which we spent a lot of time at! Would definitly consider staying here again. The weather was perfect for us, with air temps and water temps both in the low 80s.

Island House 11

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Island House. We found it to be very clean and a perfect fiot for our family. The kayaks were great and we super happy to find a grill outside as well. The area is stunning.

Barefoot Lagoon was beyond our expectations. Beautiful location with Rum Point beach steps away. Restaurants within walking distance were excellent. Had a very relaxing time hanging out at the pool, most times had it to ourselves.We will definitely be back!

Barefoot Lagoon #11

Our stay at Barefoot Lagoon #11 was fantastic. Our family of 4 was very comfortable there. Prior to our stay the property owner provided us with maps and various places to explore during our stay. During our stay I had a question and the property owner was quick to respond. Having the beach across the street, bay just outside the back door along with a pool too was lovely. We took the kayaks out three times in the evening to experienced the bioluminescence. It was magical! This was one of the primary reasons we chose this location. We enjoyed the sunset every evening on the beach. Starfish point was just a few minutes down the road, we went there twice to just relax and snorkel. We also had the opportunity to go fishing, swim with stingrays, snorkel at a reef, visited the turtle center (swam with turtles) and enjoyed a sunset on seven mile beach. Each day we had an adventure with plenty of time to relax by the water too. West Bay was approximately an hour drive and we went there twice (fishing trip and turtle center). The rest of the time we stayed at Rum Point. Enjoyed dinner out a few times and stayed in to eat at the condo a few times too. It was our best family vacation ever!

Perfect location

The property was in a great location and we enjoyed the ease of access to the beach for relaxing and snorkeling. We enjoyed the restaurants close by and cooked a little in the well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have the bikes and the kayaks to use. It was also great to have the washer and dryer when we needed to wash beach towels. Very easy to find and we felt very safe exploring the area.

A Tropical Dream

My friends and I stayed at the Barefoot Lagoon this past week and couldnt have asked for a better place to be in Grand Cayman. It was so much quieter than George Town and we loved every minute. The Bio Bay in the backyard was a highlight! It felt like a once in a lifetime experience. Rum Point was a 30 second walk and made for some nice relaxing evenings for drinks, dinner, and a sunset. Starfish Point and Kaibo were super close too. It was so nice having the three bathrooms, and we all spent a lot of time relaxing on the screened in porch. They were great at getting back to us when we contacted them too. It was our home away from home and it really felt that way. Overall I couldnt recommend a better place to syay if you're in Grand Cayman. We loved it so much and would choose to stay again and again. Wishing we were there right now!

Ideal place to relax

The property was in an ideal location for easy access to Rum Point and for relaxing. It was well-equipped and comfortably furnished however, some of the furniture needs updating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

This place was a perfect fit for our family (kids ages 4 and 7) vacation! It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing trip.The nearby pool was nice and never crowded. We used the kayaks for a calm paddle on the bay and walked across the street to the excellent beach club for ocean swimming, snorkeling, and a few drinks and meals. This area of the island is much less congested and touristy than Seven Mile Beach area. That being said, definitely get your groceries near the airport, we used Foster's Airport and Hurley's Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation staying at this VRBO and hope to visit again someday!

Great stay!

I loved staying at Island House #11. It was right on bioluminescent bay! We had a great time and the 2 master rooms were very convenient for my husband and I traveling with other family. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Having the pool and the kayaks was also fantastic! Not to mention it’s just across the parking lot to Rum Point beach! We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you

Perfect location

If you want the Cayman experience away from the crowds of Seven Mile beach, this place is for you. Though it is not an ocean view, the bay with the sand and palm trees and the screened in porch were relaxing and perfect. The pool was clean and convenient as were floaties, beach towels, and a cooler. The ocean is just across the street complete with an outdoor bar and lounge chairs. We loved the kayaks to see the bioluminescence with the new moon (a bit heavy to carry but we did it). Well stocked kitchen though we packed a lunch and went out for dinner. Great to have a coffee pot and toaster for breakfast. The house was very clean with soft sheets and comfy bed/pillows. Host gave great directions and tips. We loved Tukka East for fresh seafood. Do the stingray tour with White Sands a few minutes down the street from Kaibo. Starfish point a short walk from there. I highly recommend walking less than half a mile to Caymon Kai public beach and drift snorkel to Rum Point. Fabulous!

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our time at this condo. A very quiet and relaxing location with great amenities. We loved the opportunity to kayak on Bioluminescent Bay in the evening - what a great experience! It was a short bike ride or walk to Starfish Point and an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. Snorkeling a couple times at Rum Point and along the North Shore. Definitely will recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you Zuzana and Lennert for sharing your condo with us!

A lovely place

This is our second time at the island houses (first time in this unit) and we just love this spot on bioluminescent bay. There is a great view from this unit!! The host is very responsive and helpful and all worked out well. We also had amazing snorkeling on Rum point this year seeing turtles, an octopus many fishes and sting rays. Can't wait to come back!
