"Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). The units were spotless and the pool was regularly cleaned (Carmela's husband did this so they were there semi-regularly). There was a technical fault with some of the air-con units but Carmela did everything to rectify it. They also left us local vegetables which were delicious!...

"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"We had a good time in the house with a very friendly and accommodating host. Very nice with the short walk to the great beach. Nice starting point for cycling and driving around. "Beyond expectations, location, location, location of course with that front row seat view of Etna across the bay but the property itself was much larger than expected from the photos. "We really enjoyed our stay here, Andrea the host was amazing and was always available offer advise regarding the local area. The villa itself well equipped and the Swimming Pool was perfect. It’s bigger than it looks. It was about a 15 min drive to Syracuse and Ortigia that offers many restaurants and places to see. I would fully recommend this villa / host. "

"The house is very cosy, in a beautiful garden with a pool and stunning views, set among pistachio fields. The owners are wonderful people and very welcoming. The house is about 1 hour from Catania, half a hour from Siracusa and Noto, and maybe 15 minutes to the closest beach. We did day trips in the morning and then relaxed by the pool in the afternoon. However, people that are not used to driving might find the 10 minute drive up curvy and narrow roads challenging."
