"Had a lovely say this week at Chez Mathilde. It was chosen for the peace and quiet and because of the lovely cosy feel of the property. It was just the right distance for us to explore the forts and bunkers around Verdun. The gite itself, had everything we needed including a wood burning fire. Annie was lovely and made us a quiche, which was the best I have eaten. If we go back to this region again, we will defiantly be booking Chez Mathilde again."

"Der Eigentümer und die Verwalterin vor Ort sind sehr nett. Das Haus ist grundsätzlich gut eingerichtet. Es liegt aber leider direkt hinter einem Bauernhof und einem offen Kuh- und Schafstall. Dadurch stinkt es fast durchweg im Garten, auf der Terrasse und im Haus sehr stark! Wenn sich der Wind dreht, hat es stark nach Schwein gestunken, da auf der anderen Straßenseite ein Schweinestall ist. Le stationnement à proximité est gratuit et très proche de la maison. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. "
