"Adorable little cabins that are exactly what we needed "

"Overall, the house had a variety of amenities that were desirable and the location was close to the ski resort but there were a few issues with the house that we wanted to mention. First of all, it was not very clear that this was two separate buildings, and tromping back and forth across the icy driveway was a challenge. "This was my first hiking trip in the Adirondacks and this little house was just perfect for my visit. All the comforts of home from the welcoming living room to the nicely stocked kitchen to the beautiful outdoor setting. Very quiet neighborhood in the woods but easy to get to the places I wanted to explore. About a 20 minute drive to Lake Placid. Enjoyed the gas fireplace! Can’t wait to come back next fall because there is so much to do in this area! "

"We had our annual retreat at the house — it slept 19 comfortably. The huge table is great for games, and the open floor plan is great for a big group. The bears and other stuffed heads add some flavor, for sure. We loved the foosball and hockey and video games downstairs, and the hot tub was great after skiing Holiday Valley. We would definitely do it again! "
