Great Spot for a Low Key Beach Weekend With Friends
We had a great time here for my friend's bachelor party. Very simple check in, the fire pit and charcoal grill were awesome for having a cookout, and the place was very clean. The main reason we picked this spot is because it was close to the beach, and that worked out super well for us. We were able to get to the beach in 5-10 minutes of walking. We brought our own sheets and towels, so that made things a little simpler and affordable. We were a pretty low key group of guys looking for a relaxing time, so this fit us perfectly. If you're looking to party or something, I'd recommend finding somewhere closer to places where you can do that. The only thing slightly unexpected was that the road the yard backs up to was a little busy, but that really wasn't any problem.

Storm ruined our stay
Place was clean. Good location. Convenient to beach and grocery stores. Unfortunately, we only stayed 2 days because of island flooding concerns. Bad storm pounding us. Picked a bad time to go. Pic on website with yard showing isnt up to date. No ice, maker wouldn’t work. Doesn’t look like it is hooked up.

A fun time with family. Walking distance to public beach access. Great yard for the kids and 2 pups. Local park nearby. House was clean. Plenty of soaps & paper products provided. Loved the shaded yard, outdoor toys & fire pit

Perfect family getaway!
We absolutely love this property. It's clean, easy to check in and out, and is walking distance to the beach! Having the entire property fenced in a huge win for us since we have a 3 year old and a special needs child who likes to escape and wander.

Close to the beach, huge yard
My family and I enjoyed our stay in Oak Island last week. We travelled with a 4 year old and a dog so we were very thankful for the large yard. It was plenty of space for the dog and our child to run around. The property was maintained very well. The property manager was also super quick to respond to messages leading up to our stay. I really appreciate the prompt replies. We would love to return again some day!

Beautiful Home
We loved the big gated yard the kids & pups could have fun without safety concerns. It was rainy and really windy. Wind kept knocking down the volleyball net. Recommend getting some dark curtains to go over the patio door and windows on that side. It is bright in that half of the house & keeps the temperature warmer inside the house. Overall, nice comfortable place to stay.

Acceptable stay
The house itself is a perfect stay for a family of 4-10, the rooms were nice and the amenities were perfect for casual indoor/outdoor outings. However, when we arrived, we were asked to enter through the locked back door with a code, and when we entered the home, we discovered that the front door was completely unlocked.. Anyone could have walked in if we had not have noticed. Also, not a big issue but the hallway bathroom toilet leaked around the floor seal when used, the home was set to 85 degrees on a 95 degree day, and there was food (eggs) and drinks left inside the fridge when we arrived. If these issues are fixed I would gladly stay again, the rest of the experience was very nice.

Family Trip
Perfect place to spend time with the family. Everyone had a good time to include our puppies, they had plenty of space to run around and get all the sniffs. The house was well equipped with just about everything you need and conveniently close to the beach entrance.

Perfect for a big family with pets
The yard is amazing. The house, while not fancy, is perfect for a family with many children. Walk says 10 min, but we walked it daily with 2 dogs and 6 kids in about 6 min.

Great mini family getaway
We had a great last minute weekend trip with my family and extended family. The house was a nice setup for us with plenty of space and lots of activities outside for all the kids. We had kids ranging from 3-16 and everyone had a blast. We wish we could have stayed a few more nights since we ran out of time to use the fire pit or volleyball area. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes and the road wasn’t crowded. Even the youngest kids didn’t have issues walking. We appreciated and utilized the beach carts available. Communication was excellent and quick. Would definitely recommend and return!

Short but perfect stay
We only needed a 1 night stay last minute to be with our family while they were at the beach. This house was conveniently located 5 minutes away from where they were staying. It was cute, clean and cozy. We will remember this property for a future stay with our family. I love the fenced in property for our dogs we ended up bringing last minute because we didn’t have anybody to keep them. Highly recommend checking it out. Thank you!

Perfect for families with or without dogs!
Perfect house and extra large, completely fenced in yard for dogs and or kids! Large yard with fire ring, wood, grill with supplies, volleyball and basketball and a tree swing! Bring your own balls. Lots of chairs and tables throughout yard. Outdoor shower with hot water! House had everything we needed and more. We loved it and our dog had a great time!
