Fantastic
Our VRBO was clean and welcoming. It was a perfect little home away from home. Our host, Dee, left us a welcoming note and was quick to answer whatever questions we had! Would definitely recommend this property as one to book if you are staying in the area!!

We will be back, soon!
We had a wonderful stay...the views really are fantastic, the neighborhood is quiet, parking right in front of the cottage or right across the street was never an issue, and the entire property is quite comfortable. There is a perfect small sitting area in the back bedroom for reading or getting work done. The gas fireplace was a very nice touch our first night, when the weather was rainy; we were blessed with lovely weather the rest of our stay and spent a lot of time out on the back deck. The kitchen was quite well stocked. I do wish there was a coffee grinder, but it had just about everything else one would want (other than a dishwasher but that is pointed out in the listing and wasn't a big deal at all), including sharp knives, plenty of nice glassware and dishes, and a supply of basic spices. There were also plenty of towels and linens, laundry soap, foil, and other basic household supplies. Lots of storage areas and big closets. You'd have to walk up and down some rather steep streets to get to the closest shops and restaurants but we did order delivery once and that was a breeze. Besides, the fact that the place is at the top of a hill is what makes the views so great. Truly panoramic. Highly recommended. Indeed, we liked this vacation rental so much that we booked our next stay before we left, and next time we will stay longer. Thank you to our terrific and responsive hosts for a great time!

No disappointment
4 of us stayed for 4 nights. Everyone loved the house, everything was well organized and thought out. Dee has great communication over everything. She wants you to enjoy your stay to the fullest. The view of both San Francisco and Oakland are amazing. Parking was a non issue. If you want to get to San Francisco its a easy ride on the Bart and easier than trying to find parking in the city. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great apartment in Oakland
I have stayed in several VRBOs over the years and Dee really sets the bar high. She does an amazing job of communicating and she has given a lot of thought to what goes into her home. It was stocked with simply anything a traveler could need. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Retreat

Wonderful view, clean place, with everything thing you will need to have a stay with all the comforts of home. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect working gas stove with everything needed to make meals in the kitchen. Nice touches like the muffins upon arrival as well as OJ in the refrigerator. A great place to stay. Only 20 minutes to San Fran.

Sweet Oakland property withe Views for days
We had such a wonderful stay over the Christmas holidays at Dee's place. It was full of vintage charm, immaculate and well cared for. We were treated to an incredibly well-stocked kitchen with every utensil and spice necessary. The vintage appliances were updated and worked well. There is no dishwasher, but we didn't do a lot of big meals, so that worked out fine for us. The real selling point on this property is the view - you can see from Palo Alto to Napa, including Oakland, San Francisco and all the way to the Golden Gate. We enjoyed our morning coffee while looking out over most of SF Bay. The property is convenient to all things Oakland, Berkley and only 20 or so minutes into SF without traffic. It's about 15-30 min to the Oakland Airport, so easy in and out. Our hosts were attentive and helpful - incredibly nice as well. We will be back!

Absolutely wonderful stay
I had a great stay. I was recovering from surgery so I wanted a comfortable place to spend all day inside and this was perfect. The views were stunning, the couch and beds were soooo comfortable, and the kitchen met all our needs. We took one walk down to the town and it was really cute. Dee was wonderful and helpful and so accommodating. The house was immaculate. Definitely would stay again!

Best view in Oakland
We have no complaints about our stay at this property. The host Dee is very detailed and responsive. She provided very helpful instructions on how to find the property, maneuver our way around the property and neighborhood. When you first arrive you are greeted with the most charming little garden with fountain and spectacular mural of poppy flowers, cottage vibes. When you open the front door you are met with an impeccably clean house and astonishing view of the bay. Everything in the house is very easy to find and use, specially since Dee has taken the time to label or explain in her guest notebook. Next time visiting the Oakland area this property will be number one on my list. Thank you Dee.

The VIEW!
If you're looking for a place with an incredible view of San Francisco, clean dwelling, easy and safe parking as well as a wonderful home to create memories, don't look any further. We love everything about this rental! The host was incredibly helpful and available if needed. Just a gem!

Girls trip to San Francisco
The house was amazing. It was clean, spacious, quiet and the mattresses slept great. The homeowner was very gracious and concerned about our comfort and needs. There was myself and my 2 best friends that stayed here for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to San Francisco. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. Another Great Stay!
We love staying at Dee and Kevin’s house (we have family nearby so this is our third stay). The view of the Bay Area is captivating, day or night, and this is by far the cleanest house we have ever found on VRBO. And parking is easy. We will be back!

Cozy & Charming
Dee has added such nice, creative touches to her apartment. Everything is provided and well located. The deck is nice with a view of the lights at night. I particularly enjoyed the large soaking tub. I did have an asthma flare up due to fumes from the 7 pilot lights on the vintage stove. Fortunately after closing the gas valve we were able to enjoy our stay.
