I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at this hotel. On October 4, 2024, I booked a stay at this hotel for my partner's 60th birthday celebration. He wanted to go to Switzerland from the United States to see all of the great things the country has. I chose this hotel specifically because of its reputation for excellent service and luxurious accommodations.
Upon arrival, my partner encountered significant difficulties. There was no staff available to check him in, and no prior communication had been sent regarding alternative check-in procedures. Despite numerous attempts to contact the hotel and Expedia, no assistance was provided. Expedia also called the front desk and tried to contact numbers on the company website and there was no answer from anyone. This was done on the day of booking and while my partner waited for someone to come assist with check in. We have asked for a refund for a room that we could never access and the company refuses to refund the money.
He stayed there for over 2 hours waiting for someone to help. This lack of support and preparedness completely ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion. He had to find accommodations elsewhere.
And they sent the e-mail instructions to the wrong e-mail.
Beware when booking this hotel.
