We arrived to the unit to find the front door lock broken, so the unit was open to anyone who wanted to enter. Once inside, the smell of mold was so strong we were uncomfortable with our toddlers being in the condo for any extended period of time, and turning on the AC just made the smell worse. Overall, the unit is in need of a deep clean; the couches are stained, the kitchen table wasn't clean, and sand and dust were present throughout. We had to make a last minute decision to find a new place to stay for the night, considering the lack of a locking door and the mold smell. After sending our concerns to Vacasa, we were told they would reach out to remedy the situation. We never heard that anything was taken care of and ended up having to pay for five nights in a completely different condo. To this point, we've received no refund or any sort of remedy. We will not rent from Vacasa in the future; they were also given ample opportunity to make things right prior to this review being posted.
