Great beach vacation! Hadn’t been to OIB in years. can’t believe how much it’s grown. Our house was everything we wanted or needed. Terri was VERY accommodating and responsive. We loved it all!

Family Vacation
Exceptional property - family of 12 stayed and had plenty of space for everyone. Location is close to beach and corner lot provided extra space. Kids loved the pool. Would definitely stay here again. Host was excellent to work with in preparing for our stay. There were no issues to deal wiht during our stay. Great vacation!

Spring getaway
The property is exceptionally clean, well-stocked and conveniently located to the beach and about one mile from stores/restaurants. We stayed during the off-season (March) and there was a lot of construction vehicles/traffic going up and down on the street which detracted a bit from the serenity of the surroundings. It wasn't warm enough for the usual beach activity, but we enjoyed the bicycles (they don't look like much but it's a quality ride) and exploring the area. It is a perfect house for summertime as it is literally steps from the ocean. The owner is fantastic and very accessible. We were caught off guard about having to rent sheets and towels and make our own beds upon arrival (I hadn't noticed that in the listing but it clearly states it now.) Other than that minor inconvenience, it was a lovely stay and would be great for a large family. There is also a nice pool and a big yard with a grill.

Peaceful beach house stay
Our 3 sons, 2 wife’s and new 5 month old grandson gathered the week after Christmas to celebrate together. We loved that there was seating for everyone and that the beds were super comfortable! We enjoyed large family meals together and all the amenities that OIB has to offer! The property manager was phenomenal and super communicative and the kitchen was so well stocked!

Loved this Beach Getaway
This home on the canal was just perfect for our family getaway. So close to the beach (one block), awesome pool (that we had heated), kayaking on the canal, tons of bike rides, and overall relaxing atmosphere. The property Manager lets you know all of this when booking, but when you pack your own linens and towels, make sure to bring some shower mats as the floors can be a bit slippery when wet. Tons of amenities and great communication. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfection with heavenly outdoor space!
Our family of four had the best time at OIB thanks in large part to this exceptional property. Terri was extremely proactive in giving us information to get us in without a hitch and helping make our stay amazing. She was very responsive to any questions or concerns. The house is amazing! Indoor space was spic and span, extremely comfortable beds/bedding, great decor, wonderful outside light, and nice appliances. The outdoor space takes it to another level! We enjoyed coffee on the back porch every morning and wine/cocktails at night overlooking amazing views in every direction. The pool was the perfect oasis from the afternoon sun for our four year old when we came back to put our toddler down for a nap - it is shaded after noon! I enjoyed taking a dip in the evenings after going for a jog. We used the kayaks and fished off of the pier - caught 8 fish and our kiddo was in heaven! We played night bocce in the very soft grass in the evenings. Not an inch of the outdoor space was unused! Can't remember a better vacation rental in our 20+ years of coming to OIB!

What a beautiful place
We had a fantastic time - the house was great. We were very comfortable, appreciated all the amenities like the kayaks and the how close we were to the beach access. Terri was the best host ever and we hope to return again in the future. Highly recommend.

Excellent House!!
We take a whole family vacation every year and this trip was perfect! House had plenty of space, was exceptionally clean, and the outdoor spaces are fantastic! Kids played in the pool nonstop (we did have it heated) and we also rented additional bikes for everyone, which was a huge hit! Terri is such a pleasure to communicate with. She is prompt and gives you plenty of details for everything you might need. She also leaves a binder with information which was so helpful as we had never been in the area before. Location is excellent with beach access right across the street and neighbors we all very friendly! We highly recommend this house for your vacation and we will definitely be coming back!!

Beautiful home!!
The house was everything we wanted it to be! We’re siblings and our SO’s who used it to meet up with our parents who we haven’t been able to see because of covid. We went with the idea that we could stay in the house the entire week if we had to because things weren’t fully open. I was nervous because that’s a lot to put on a place for week but it was amazing. The house is very open, there are a ton of places to hang out and it’s just comfortable. My mom who has been nervous all year said this is the first time she really felt relaxed. It was slightly chilly when we were there but we had the pool heated and used it everyday. It’s in the sun all morning so the temps are great and it’s bigger than it looks in the pictures! We used the grill every night, rode the bikes and kayaked and they were all in perfect working order. And the beach is steps away. All that on top of Terri being so easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful. It was the perfect, relaxing week we hoped for!

The BEST Family Vacation!
To start, the homeowner Terri was absolutely incredible - I felt like I was borrowing a home from a friend! She is organized, responsive, and goes above and beyond to help with every detail and answer every question. There is not enough good to say about her! The property is immaculate - super clean and great setup for our family. You can tell Terri has put thought and detail into every aspect of the home and it sounds like more upgrades are on the way! We brought my in-laws, two year old and one year old and had an incredible time. The back porch being gated made it much easier to wrangle my kids! A high chair and pack n play being available was a big help- less to pack. We loved the room selection and the bathrooms were perfect! The property itself is in the BEST location on the island - access to the canal, a heated pool, and the beach! We rented a golf cart for the week (absolutely recommend!) and toured the whole island - by far, Terri’s home is one of the best with all of the things it offered and in the location it is. We have already recommended this home to so many friends! Thank you, Terri!
