"Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The property is located on a hilltop with beautiful views, and each room had excellent cold air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the Texas heat.A couple of things to note: the gravel road and driveway can be a bit rough if you're driving a low-clearance vehicle—an SUV handles it much better. "Words and pictures really cannot describe how special this place is. The treehouse, ans our family called it is so cozy and comfortable. Sitting down by the lake at any time of the day is just magical. Shelly is a phenomenal host and person. She worked very hard to get us in on the same day that she had some guest checking out in the morning. I cannot recommend enough staying at this magical, special place! "

"The place was great for a small family reunion for my mom‘s 75th birthday. There was plenty of space for us. They had everything you needed in the kitchen. The pool and views were wonderful. A few things that didn’t work (e.g. dryer, air hockey table puck, 2 rollaways) but they responded incredibly quickly and we really didn’t need those things so it didn’t detract from the stay. I’m sure they’ll be resolved before the next person. I’d recommend this place. "
