"The apartment is charming and in the most beautiful spot with views over the island and swimming in the lake from the garden. Stefano could not have been more helpful and provided extensive information to cover every aspect of our stay. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the town. No aircon but Stefano provided us with fans to cool us at night. We loved our time in Orta - it is a very special place indeed."

"Außergewöhnliche Wohnung mit großartigem Garten und supernetten Gastgebern. Einzig die kleine Kochzeile ist nichts fuer Selbstversorger und die enge Hofeinfahrt eine fahrerische Herrausforderung..Aber, eh, wir sind in Italien, und da sollte man nicht so zimperlich sein. Zumal die nächste Bar und der öffentliche Parkplatz nicht weit sind. "

"The apartment is like a 1970s time capsule! We were a bit shocked at first, but it is super clean and in great shape. There is a washer if you need it and a kitchen with everything you need. The porch is huge with gorgeous views of the lake. As far as I know, there is no wifi. I reached out and never heard back. There also is no shower, but there is a tub with a shower head on a hose. "We´ve spent an amazing time the four night we spent at this appment at Dumenza, Adriana is simply a great person and she helped and suggested us a lot of nice things to do on the area, specially the Festa della Zucca! It was just amazing. The appartment was super clean and the terrace has a beautiful landscape. We would definitely come back here next time we go to Dumenza. Grazie Adriana per tutto! "Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, die Hausherrin sehr herzlich und nett. Der Straßenlärm hielt sich in Grenzen, wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, stört das wenig, zu Stoßzeiten aber schon merklich. Einziger wirklicher Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Wohnung ein wenig feucht ist, was zur Folge hat, dass die Möbel und damit der Raum modrig riecht. Auch die Schränke innen müffeln leider deutlich. Die Terrasse bietet einen herrlichen Ausblick auf den Lago und lädt zum Verweilen...

"Good place to stay if your'e on a budget and want to be quite central in Lugano. You have a small balcony with the view of concrete walls. Sleeping in the sofa/bed works but of course not the best. If you are on the heavier side, you will feel the steel pipes on your back. Internet via Wifi did not work at all, sent a mail to the owner the same day I arrived, three days later still not working, however 5G worked really good, I had over 300 Mbit over 5G.
