Wonderful villa. It had everything we could have wished for, and we had a wonderful time. The house has 4 rooms with all possible amenities, including air conditioning. All the rooms and 2 bathrooms are upstairs. The space downstairs is large and relaxing. The pool was amazing. The view from the property, particularly the sunsets, was to die for. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Everything was clean, organized, and well cared for. Highly recommended for families. We hope to be able to return soon.

First rate villa with lovely big pool

This is a great place to spend a couple of weeks. The house is very well equipped and comfortable, and the pool is large and clean. The beds are comfortable and with the air con on you can be completely insulated from noise and light. The huge, sandy beaches are 15 minutes away, perfect for children as the water is warm and shallow until a long way out. The ruins and temples at Paestum are amazing, and Agropoli is a charming town. There's a big supermarket 5 minutes away and lots of smaller shops dotted about. We found the best food at the various agri-tourism establishments nearby. It is worth driving up into the mountain villages for a change of scenery and majestic views.

Absolutely wonderful

Villa Roberta was one of the very best properties we've ever stayed in - a beautiful house, wonderful mature garden and large, clean swimming pool but made especially memorable by the warm welcome and personal touches of Leonilde who welcomed us to her home and made sure we had the perfect holiday. We loved the peace and quiet of the house but also how quick and easy it was to reach Paestum, Salerno and on to the Amalfi Coast. We look forward to returning very soon.

Fantastic villa with exceptional pool

From the moment we booked this villa, the communications with the owner were exceptional - fast responses, helpful answers and useful suggestions and local information. We stayed here as a base to explore the Cilento region - with day trips to Paestum, Gole del Calore; the caves at Pertosa and exploring the coastline near Cape Palinuro interspersed with relaxing by, and in, the amazing pool. The villa is well equipped and the beds very comfortable. You do need to have a car but the supermarkets are close by (5mins drive) and we had some wonderful meals out in the countryside. We would definitely consider returning here for another holiday as it is a wonderful base to explore the area and relax away from tourist hotspots.

Sehr schöne Location

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa war sehr schön. Wir haben es sehr genossen die Abende beim Sonnenuntergang auf der Veranda ausklingen zu lassen. Ein weiteres Highlight war der riesige Pool (ca.14x6m). Die Villa war sehr sauber und wie beschrieben ausgestattet. Wir (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) haben es sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder dort unseren Urlaub verbringen. Die Lage ist optimal für Ausflüge nach Paestum und Agropoli sowie an den nahegelegenen Strand. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und jederzeit erreichbar.

Villa magnifique mais isolée

La Villa Roberta est magnifique et correspond parfaitement au descriptif. Le point fort est la piscine. Malheureusement les environs étaient très bruyants: travaux la journée, chiens le soir. La région n'est pas adaptée aux chiens: interdits dans la plupart des plages et aucun sentier dans les environs pour balader avec notre ami à 4 pattes. Nous avons été très déçus par les restaurants, pas un seul qui donnait envie d'y retourner donc nous avons mangé à la villa tous les midis et soirs avec un choix limité et mauvaise qualité des produits aux supermarchés. Malheureusement pas le séjour dont nous avions rêvé.

Absolutely amazing

Beautiful, comfortable, and a pool to die for. Possibly the nicest Vila we have ever stayed in, and we get around a lot. Our host Was so friendly and helped us book wonderful restaurants.

Vacanza con amici

Consigliamo Villa Roberta per una vacanza tra amici. Ottima per due famiglie numerose. Punto di partenza per molte mete interessanti con la possibilità di godere degli ampi spazi e soprattutto della piscina, per la gioia di grandi e piccini! Cucina super attrezzate per 9 persone ! Peccato per la foschia che ci ha impedito di godere della vista sulla costiera amalfitana! Consigliamo la visita ai caseifici Barlotti e Vannulo e segnaliamo la vicinissima oasi Fiume Alento.

Das Haus und die Umgebung sind traumhaft schön.

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in der Villa Roberta verbracht. Die Villa Roberta ist wirklich hervorragend und es entspricht den Beschreibungen zu 100%. Hervorzuheben sind der Ausblick von der Villa auf Agropoli, dem Meer und dem täglichen Sonnenuntergang. Der Lage der Villa ist auch fantastisch und man hat die Möglichkeit viele wunderschöne Ziele in der Umgebung zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Leonilde und Egidio war auch bestens. Wir können diese Villa bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Tranquil and relaxing

Absolutely as advertised. Lovely pool and pool area in beautifully kept garden. Cool terrace with stunning views and bird song. The house was well equipped and very clean - everything worked as it should and decent WiFi. All fully air conditioned, and beds comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would love to return. The house is in a rural location so car is required. That said decent supermarket and pharmacy only five minutes away and good, cheap pizzerias within 15 minutes’ drive. Paestum also well worth a visit.

We had a fantastic time at Villa Roberta. Thank you, Leonilda, for being such a kind and gracious host! We had everything we needed for our family and friends (children aged 11, 8 & 5) to enjoy a great holiday. We stayed for two weeks and apart from relaxing at the house with it’s tremendous view and large pool we explored and enjoyed the following: Paestum, Salerno, Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Castellabate & Trentinara & going to the beaches (lido). Fantastic property and location

We had a fantastic week with friends (4 adults and 6 kids 11-17). The views from villa Roberta are fabulous - the photos do not do it justice. The pool is huge and kept our teenagers very happy. The owner was in regular contact and very helpful. The villa is very well equipped in the kitchen and bbq area and there were plenty of towels for the pool etc. The location on the gate of Cilento is perfect - very few tourists (at least none that speak English) which is a bonus for us but be prepared to resort to ‘sign language’! Really close to supermarkets (5 mins) and the seaside town of agropoli. Prices here are really reasonable compared to the better known Amalfi coast but our €4-6 pizzas did not disappoint. Cannot recommend this property and region enough.

Very nice villa with fantastic view; excellent contact with owner. Great place to spend summer holidays. This was also a good starting point for visiting all Amalfi Coast and Napoli. You really should see the pool!

Mooi huis met prachtig zwembad met uitzicht

Goeie woning. Prachtig groot zwembad met erg mooi uitzicht. De verhuurster, Leohilde is erg klantgericht en doet wat ze kan om het verblijf naar je zin te maken. We waren er pas om 02.00 in de nacht door verlies koffer op vliegveld, maar Mario was er om ons welkom te heten. Erg fijn! Wel is het huis qua slaapkamers en eettafels meer op 6 dan 8 personen (laat staan 10 personen..) ingericht.

Absolutely beautiful

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday here. The owners were very accommodating and waited up for our arrival which was very late. They also had a lovely mix of local foods ready for us. The location was stunning, high on a hillside overlooking Agropoli, the sea and rolling hills with olive and lemon groves. We could hear the odd sheep or goat and view the fantastic Easter celebration fireworks in the surrounding villages. The villa had much charm and felt like a well loved home with plenty of space and stylish furniture and ornaments. Fantastic location for visiting Amalfi, Naples and the awesome ruins of Paestum. We found a very warm welcome in Italy and we didn't want to leave!

Nous avons passé 15 jours fantastiques dans cette merveilleuse "villa Roberta". Sa situation est exceptionnelle, à la fois dans un havre de paix et à quelques minutes de la mer et de merveilles architecturales... sans oublier la gastronomie! En terme de confort, la villa possède absolument tous les équipements imaginables. Vous pouvez louer cette villa en toute confiance. Merci aux sympathiques propriétaires et à bientôt en Campanie!

Amazing location, great hospitality

The views around Villa Roberta are stunning. You can watch the sun set over the Bay of Naples. Everything has been thought of in the house: a home espresso machine, Sky TV, air conditioning, really big pool etc. Outside we were pressed by our kind hosts to enjoy the beautiful figs from the many fig trees in the garden, and also the tomatoes and other vegetables which the gardener takes care of. The only downside was that we had a very large electricity bill at the end of the stay - 160 Euros for a two week stay. However, we had been using the air con every night as the weather was so hot. (Also I probably ate quite a few euros-worth of the wonderful figs!) There is so much to see in this beautiful region - Pompeii, Paestum, the seaside, and the Amalfi coast is within reach. Shops are 5 minute drive away.
