"Sigurd’s home is absolutely lovely. The location is peaceful and beautiful, with a wonderful view. But more importantly, the house is spotless and equipped with everything you need to have a home away from home. We hated leaving. And he responded to any needs we had right away. The entire experience was easy and made is feel welcome. We enjoyed spending time there more than even driving around. We would go back without hesitation."

"Von uns kommt leider keine Empfehlung für dieses Haus. Es ist schlecht ausgestattet, ungemütlich und das Schlafen unterm Dach ist eine Zumutung, angesichts der Raumhöhe (in der Mitte ca. 140 cm) und des Holz- und Farbgeruchs sowie der mangelnden Durchlüftung. Da wacht man jeden Morgen mit Kopfschmerzen auf. In und um das Haus herum liegt eine Menge Unrat, Boots- und Angelzubehör. Für den Preis (auch als erfahrener Norwegen-Urlauber) zu wenig Gebotenes."

"This cottage so close to the sea, was really a pearl. We woke up to the sound from the waves. The morning coffee we enjoyed on one of the two terraces looking at the picturesque view . So nice and cozy place with a soul (one of the places you would really like to keep as a secret and not to tell anyone). "Fairly basic flat, clean and has everything you need. Up above the road so sitting outside on a nice evening has a great view. Owner lives upstairs and is very helpful. Beds comfy and good shower. Very friendly local cat comes to visit. About 25 minutes drive to centre of Bergen and loads of good walking and fjord swimming places within 20 minutes drive max. Thoroughly recommend for 10 days exploring."

"Im Haus und auf dem Hof haben wir uns wohlgefühlt. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, nichts hat gefehlt. Sogar die Bratpfanne war 1a (das kann man leider oft nicht sagen). Der Internetanschluß war 'ne Wucht, TV über Sat, Mobilfunk überall LTE. Das Hinderniss bestand darin, dass wir liebend gerne vom Ufer aus angeln, das aber auf dieser Insel so gut wie unmöglich ist (entweder bebaut, oder einfach zu steil). Wir haben uns also das Boot vom Vermieter geliehen und dann auf diesem Weg unsere...

"We loved this place! Having at one time owned a family summer home in Tysnes and renting a few nice homes after we sold our home in 1991, this place was by far the nicest.
