"We had the best time at Villa Cayo! The cabin kitchen is very well equipped and we had the most comfortable bed. We saw all kinds of birds, every morning, even toucans! The property works better for guests with a car, but they'll assist you with transfers, tours and even taxi cabs. Virginia, Ken, Luis and each one we met at the property were wonderful! They make you feel very welcome! Great place if you're looking for a restful vacation! We can't wait to return to San Ignacio and stay here...

"The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing."

"The listing does not show the cabana in question. As we were the only guests at the time, we were given the option of 2 different cabanas neither of which matched the pics in the in listing. The cabana we ended up with had 2 very tiny bedrooms with no place to put our luggage. The washroom needed upgrades as the shower head was hanging on for it's life. "This house in Santa Elena is so cool! Our family of 5 stayed here for three nights. The house itself is well maintained, very spacious and clean. The views around the property are gorgeous and the surroundings are lush and so peaceful. We had Consuelo cook for us one nights and it was the best as she prepared food and cleaned up everything after. We got to relax after a long day. And Consuelo is so sweet and helpful. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend! "

"This place truly had it all Beautiful home and property- spacious and lovely environment to hang out inside or outside Wonderful staff- Elias and Betty were so kind and attentive, gave great recommendations, anticipated our needs and went above and beyond DELICIOUS food- seriously some of the best meals we’ve eaten, for every single meal.
