Lots of potential
This was a beautiful property and professor Elvis was very nice, on location to help, and even made us a reservation at a nice restaurant. The view is amazing and I loved the porch and pool! It has lots of potential! However, there were a few issues that can't be overlooked. Firstly, it's the location. Because it's so far out you absolutely have to have a car and have to be an amazing fearless driver. The roads wind a lot, the gps doesn't take you all the way to the house (don't arrive at night, you're driving up a mountain without railing on the sides), and in areas the roads are very narrow (sometimes you have to back up out of the way for other cars on a cliffside). The biggest concern however, which is not described in the listing, is how ridiculously steep the driveway is. I mean steep. It is absolutely terrifying (everyone in the car would hold their breathe and shriek) . And you have to make a sharp left into a tiny carport on some lose gravel. There is a drop off behind you when you back out. Both of our drivers got stuck with our wheels not being able to get solid traction to move backwards or forward. I mean it when I say you really have to be an amazing driver and fearless. The other issues with the house were not deal breakers for us, so if this driving doesn't scare you, you'll be fine.
The other issue was the beds. They're boxsprings and not comfortable. When we arrived the slats fell out the bottom! But he was able to fix it. He just needs to replace the beds.
