"So this place was a good place to stay as we start our drive around the country. It's in the middle of nowhere (by beach though) but not scenic. The room is comfortable and clean. It's really quiet. The only downside is there was very limited hot water. My wife used it all up in a not very long shower. "

"Vi havde et dejlig ophold i den hyggelige, store hytte #1. Den lidt ældre hytte havde sin helt egen charme og var meget pæn og rengjordt ved ankomst. Børnene elskede den store hems hvor de sov og kunne se ned til det store køkken/alrum. Selve køkkenet var godt indrettet med stort køleskab, 4 kogeplader, ovn og vask. Vi har dog savnet nogle køkkenredskaber som fx. en palet eller en osteskærer. Hvis man har tænkt sig at booke et længere ophold i hytten er det måske godt at vide at der ikke er...

"We have really enjoyed our week just outside Selfoss. The cabin was cosy and equipped with all the essentials, and an excellent base to explore southern Iceland from. We even got to see the Northern Lights from just outside the cabin! Petra was an accessible, friendly and super helpful host, she kindly went above and beyond to help us when our flight was cancelled due to a bad storm. We would highly recommend!"

"The cottage is in the perfect area to view the northern lights. It’s just close enough to the nearby town and just far enough to not get the light pollution. The outdoor hot tub for each individual cottage is perfect to sit in and watch the lights. They have the cutest ‘community’ dog that is very sweet and so well behaved. Just be aware if you are allergic to dogs! The bed seems to be a bit old and it was awkward to have just one side to get in and out through as the rest of the bed is up...

"Das Cottage ist sehr klein aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war alles da was man brauchte. Allerdings ist das Bett für zwei Personen viel zu klein und dass das Bad nicht komplett abgeschlossen war führt dazu, dass keine Privatsphäre vorhanden ist. Daher nur 4 Sterne. Vermieterin ist sehr nett und sympathisch. "

"Beautiful property with fantastic views, we saw the northern lights from the balcony while we were there!! It had everything we could have possibly needed, the host was lovely and very helpful, he responded quickly when we found we didn’t have the code to get in to ensure we weren’t stranded outside, it was a lovely place to stay and I’d certainly book again in the future"

"Greg and Magnea were amazing hosts. Their property is absolutely perfect for a big group like ours were. Plenty of rooms so you can spread the group out while also having big community areas to all hang out in. You could also spread out and have smaller group hangs outs as well.
