"Beautiful, clean cottage with everything you could want for a fun and relaxing vacation. It's a lovely, quiet location and the lake is so pretty with the sunset and loons. The host is friendly and quick to answer any questions. "

"We were very impressed with our hosts. They were super nice and very accommodating. Hats up in the air to Oscar and Sage for making sure that we didn't forget our pets at home, and gave them extra scratches behind their ears. Definitely we will book again :-)"

"Great accommodations for our small family and dog as we explored Hastings County. Lots of fun in, on, and and out of the water. Jason and Susie were gracious hosts and kindly shared their knowledge the Weslemkoon area to help us get the most out of our visit. Looking forward to seeing the Eco Retreat continue to grow!"

"The only issue is the single washroom located at the 2nd floor. It would have been better if there is a powder room or another washroom at the main floor.Also, the vanity sink at the washroom is always clogging. But over all the place is good."

"Easy to find as it’s the first home just off the main road. That being said it can get a little noisy when the large trucks drive by. For the most part it didn’t bother us and you get used to it. Great lake for kayaking (not provided) we brought our own. The dock does have a ladder for easy access. We took our dog to the other end of the lake where it is shallow and has a sandy bottom. This is a public entrance area. Our son did some fishing off the dock and caught a nice size bass which we...

The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. The one ice cream place attached to the woodland parking lot had a dog friendly patio and they gave my pup a pup cone for free it was so...

"I was looking for a dog friendly winter vacation spot to hang out in the snow with my 1.5 year old lab/husky. He was too little last year to really enjoy the winter so this year I decided to spoil him for all his hard working in the last year training.
