"This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had. The day of my stay I had to message for directions to the cabin. Directions were not sufficient and I had no cell service. "Reggie’s retreat was an amazing place to stay. The dog friendly touches like water bowls and poo bags were very much appreciated. Hiking trail in walking distance and close to Lake Vermilion where we fished a couple days. The rooms were pristine and the kitchen was great. Would highly recommend!"

"Went to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday. We have been to Elbow Lake several times and knew what to expect. The cabin is "no frills" but that is part of the experience. It is right on the lakeshore with a deck literally a few feet from the water. The lake is quiet with very few boats making it easy to hear the frequent loon calls. It's a good kayak / canoe lake with a beautiful sand beach in front of the lodge for swimming. The on-site manger and his family are there for whatever you need....

"We stayed for a long weekend in the fall, but the property is honestly so well set up for all seasons. Plenty of room and things to do for all ages. Traveled with two kids under 7. Gorgeous lot with lots to explore. Highly recommend! "

The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. "There's a lot to do around this hotel, as it is situated on a lake (it's Minnesota, so this is probably to be expected). This was convenient to getting to the southeastern side of Voyageurs National Park. The room was adequately comfortable and felt clean. Breakfast begins at 4:00 a.m. which is convenient for hunters, fishing people, and truckers. They serve pizza 24 hrs/day. The staff was friendly."
