"Lovely home with wonderful view of the ocean. The house is in the side yard of the owner’s main house but it feels separate and private. We enjoyed outings in the area during the day and cooked dinners in the well equipped kitchen at night. Owners are helpful and responsive. Highly recommend for a scenic Maine getaway!"

It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. "Great, comfortable place to stay. The location is super walkable. There are several bars/restaurants very close, and other areas are close enlighten to walk to as well (I.e. Congress Street). Commercial is a bit of a walk, but if you’re like us and love to walk a new area. It’s not that far. The bed is comfortable and the place was very clean. Communication was great. We would stay here again!"

Chat with neighbors on the front porch or watch wildlife and hang out in the backyard picnic tables. Comfortable beds and two full baths makes it good for group of 4-6 people. "This apartment is great- the furnishings are cute and the bed is comfy. It has a kitchen with all of the cookware I needed, and off-street parking is awesome. I liked that it was really convenient to downtown, but outside of the busy, touristy parts of town. The owners were communicative, but not intrusive. It was overall a great experience. I would definitely stay here again."

"As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. "

"This is a perfect place to stay in one of our favorite cities. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and located so that parking is nearby with great restaurants, shops, and activities within walking distance. We appreciated the vibe of the place and effort to make being there a part of the great time in Portland rather than just a place to sleep.
