"We had a great week on Long Lake. Chet and Lauren have done a lot of work on their property, and it shows. The cabins were very quaint, comfortable and clean, especially the beds. I like that we brought all our own linens and bedding, I feel that is more efficient for both owner and guest. The lake, the use of the resort's aluminum rowboats (we attached our own motor), grills, firepit and outdoor furniture made it a fun, relaxing week and we all agreed we would definitely like to return to...

"We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very roomy, beautiful yard, quiet neighborhood! Lots for the kids to do, they loved the air hockey! The host was great, we had a little hiccup the first day, and he handled it immediately, was very nice and easy to get ahold of! I was a little nervous because there was no air conditioning but we opened the windows and it was perfect. We would definitely book here again"

"Wonderful week at a remote waterfront Lake Huron house. Bring everything you will need, as you are 30 minutes north of Oscoda and about 30 minutes south of Alpena. There is a dollar general nearby and a wonderful restaurant 10 min north but true shopping is limited. The house is spacious and located just off a rocky shore beach point with great access for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Recommend bringing drinking water as well. "The cabin was great!!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils. Lovely, considerate extras: ice, bottled water, fresh flowers, and so much more! We spent 2 nights as a couple and 2 more as grandparents of 2 boys (3&10). Such valuable memories and happy experiences. Beach was quiet and clean with anything you could hope for!!! "We were thrilled to be on the Thunder Bay river. My family likes to fish off the dock. It is shallow at this point and peacful. We were able to use one kayak. The second kayak was too filled with rain.water and too heavy for us to turn over and drain it. The deck is a lovely place to sit or eat and watch the river, except that the seat cushions were soaked with rain water also. I suggest a deck storage box to store the seat cushions when not in use. this will keep them dry and ready for use....
