"From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming. The home was simple, quaint, and super cozy. Perfect for a nice long relaxing weekend for both the dogs and people. The views from the sun room were lovely. The deck/patio area had a beautiful view of the water. The fire pit was a nice perk in the evening. Surrounded by water, the place felt so private....

"Such a cozy cabin in the woods! We brought our own bird feeders and food and the birds came in immediately. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. The cabin had a lovely porch with a patio table and chairs and we enjoyed our morning coffee listening to birdsong"

"It was the short weekend runaway we needed and were looking forward to. It's a quick ride to Pittsfield but we decided to cross the border to Manchester, VT. The place was as described, quiet, clean, secluded but easy to find. The Lake was fantastic but, due to weather, decided against taking the kayaks out. Perhaps next time. Thanks to Rich for being a great and gracious host!"

"A beautiful large home with plenty of bedrooms and space to just relax after a long day on the water or catching a show at Tangle Wood. Our family enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and large backyard complete with a fire pit, large hot tub, grilling area and ample seating. This home has two kitchens a large family room with a pool table, two full bathrooms and two laundry rooms. We will definitely look to book this property again when in the Pittsfield-Lenox area. "

"This house was the perfect get away house for out family! The place was clean and the kitchen well stocked! We had wonderful large family dinners and enjoyed heading into town for meals and fun too. We had the best hikes with are wonderful dog that we got to include, it was a very special week. Great location and the most peaceful and amazing views from the deck and the dock. "Once you climbed the hill, this place is exactly like the pictures! Beautiful, quiet, peaceful… serene, you couldn’t ask for more. Well perhaps AC during a 90heatwave but they had a lot of fans to keep the air moving. Outdoors was gorgeous, the breeze lovely. Like I said, I couldn’t ask for more. Spent time floating on the lake which was beautiful as well. "

"We stayed for 2 nights to attend an event at Springfield College. 'We' were 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. While it is pet friendly there were no remnants of any pets from previous renters. It is an OLD farmhouse that was immaculate and comfortably furnished. It is stocked with plenty of towels and all the kitchen utensils and appliances needed. The property is very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of parking and a nice backyard for active kids."

"We loved this charming house on the river! We attended a family reunion in the area and it was a wonderful location and so lovely to be near the running river and take a dip in the refreshing water. My only recommendation would be to add in the initial listing that there is a caretaker on property. That isn't listed on the listing and I didn't know about it until the check in instructions came.
