Excellent in EVERY WAY
Wonderful property - unique Architectural Gem. Creatively designed in the spirit of Frank Lloyd Wright, with philosophy of organically connecting with nature. Set upon hundreds of acres of Ranch. Owner (Claire) comms were highly responsive and clear/helpful every step of the way. We couldn't be more grateful for everything! Thanks so much Claire and Michael. Friends from university gathered for a three day re-counting of our wonderful history. We walked, talked and celebrated with beautiful food and custom beverages! The setting is superb, deer visited us each day, we could sit out on the lovely patio, sunsets were spectacular…a perfect spot for our visit

Had such a wonderful stay in a very unique house that was set up perfectly for our weekend getaway with a group of friends. High end finishings as all around, yet able to get back to nature with incredible views in a serene location.

Incredible!
I’m embarrassed it’s taken me so long to review such an incredible property. We came here for my husband’s birthday last year. I was looking for somewhere memorable and unique where we could have our kids but it also be somewhere special for the adults. We had the most amazing time! The property and house are breathtaking and very well equipped. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. We tell everyone about our stay here. It’s a must visit! Thank you so much for having us, we would love to visit again in the future!

We had an amazing stay! The ranch is a very beautiful location and was a perfect get away for our family. Unique layout with bedrooms in a separate building. It was nice to have the space for our dogs to also enjoy! The hosts were lovely and very responsive! We would very much recommend this spot!

The property is amazing. The architecture of the main room is remarkable, round with wundow view all around. Wonderful fireplace, large kitchen and terrific bathroom with large tub abd shower. Truly a great home for a retreat!. Deer visited us every morning!

Perfect Family Getaway
My family rented this beautiful property for a long overdue reunion with my brothers, parents and our respective families. The scenery of the huge ranch is breathtaking and the home is designed well for a vacation rental. We could put our baby and toddler to bed in the guesthouse and still have plenty of space to hang out into the evening. The covered gazebo area was perfect for cooking and dining and we enjoyed many games of cornhole (brought our own boards) in the backyard with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked with nearly everything we needed to cook our meals and store our food/beverages. Communication with the hosts was good. I was a bit confused about cleaning expectations at the end of our stay as they had cleaners come but had a long list of cleaning expectations sent in a pdf document but we did our best to leave it as we found it! We would definitely return for another stay as we were sad to leave!

Remote and fully serviced.
We had a great stay at this home. A property this remote, fully serviced, and modern is a treat. We did not see another human during our 3 nights. Property was clean, beds were comfortable, and the home had basiclly everything you would need. Our 3 toddlers had lots a fun as there was great outdoor spaces to play and lots of kids toys inside. Would easily reccomend this home.

Beautiful Property
Our family drove from Illinois U.S.A. to enjoy this property and Banff NP. The house was great and the owner was very easy to work with. The only issue for us was it took about 2 hours to get to the park, which after driving almost 1600 miles to get to the house the extra time driving to the park 3 out of the 5 days was a bit much. Well worth it though! Whitewater rafting was much closer and made for a great day. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves being outdoors as the property is beautiful!

This place was perfect for our family of seven and our dogs. It was beautiful, clean, and a great fit for our family. The separate building for bedrooms was great so that whoever wanted to go to bed early could do so in peace. The kitchen was amazing and fun to cook in. The view was spectacular. We would like to go there again next year!

Beautiful area, just ok stay
Like others mentioned we had small communication issues but received the gate code just in time before we arrived, a little stressful when traveling with poor reception but not a big deal. When we arrived there must have been a group staying before us and maybe cleaning was rushed, counter tops were sticky and drinks were spilled on the outdoor table…not a huge deal but would have been nicer if it was cleaned but we cleaned up. The fire wood bin was empty, I emailed the property owner and got a response back the following day with instructions where to find more (just a 2 min drive down the other side of the property) so we filled our truck and stocked the bin, not a problem if we were at a camp ground but again would have been better if it was ready for our arrival for the price per night. The area is beautiful and the home is nice, you will want to ensure you’re driving a vehicle with high clearance depending on the season. The lighting was hard to work but by the end of our stay we almost had it figured out. A word of caution, if you have both of the fridge doors opened it tips. It looks like the place has been well used and some upgrades might be needed…tiles missing in the bathroom and the furniture was a little dirty / worn out. Your paying for the location and scenery, which was excellent but we aren’t sure we would stay again.

Family Weekend
My family and I had a great stay at the Tacansina Ranch. The architecture of the main house is quite stunning and the open concept made it perfect to host a large family get together. I was pleasantly surprised to find ample chairs (20+) and extra tables for the whole family. There was also an abundance of dishes, silverware, and serving trays. The covered patio was excellent for family games and enjoying the evening breeze. We enjoyed the fire pit, although it would have been nice to have firewood provided. The only thing that didn't meet expectation was the washing machine being broken. Besides that, we had a lovely stay and would return again.
