Wonderful home, spacious and comfortable
We really enjoyed our weekend here. Everything was clean, well stocked & comfortable. We loved the ability for all of us to gather around the table for dinner or a game. There was ample room for everyone to sit in the living room, too. There was plenty of space for privacy as well with the many bedrooms. It was cozy while being roomy!The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, etc. The beds were comfortable & the a/c worked perfectly. We loved the extra touches of a good high chair and pack and play, too. The manager is responsive and quick with communication tooWe loved the proximity of the home to hikes/trails, the lake, coffee shops, etc. We had a wonderful balance of activity & relaxation. The BBQ place up the road was really good—we walked up, ordered our food & took it back to the house for dinner. The only part I didn’t expect was the outdoor/yard area: I assumed the firepit & picnic table was a private backyard amenity. The backyard is a small strip of unimproved ground that you can’t do much with. The firepit, picnic table, & lawn games are at the front of the house, shared with the rental home across the way. It is an open area that the other homes/cabins could access as well, though I don’t think that’s the intention. The volleyball net I can understand being open for more than just this house, but the rest was awkward for us. Overall this is an amazing property & we would love to stay here again. It would be great as a retreat & rent multiple homes.
