"My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night visit to Grouse Haven. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the snow covered woods on the property. We enjoyed our time at Grouse Haven so much that we hated to leave. Phyllis was a delight to get to know and was very helpful to us. We can’t wait to make a return visit to this lovely property."

"Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed."

"Pet friendly weekend get away. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. This cottage was perfect. It was close to restauraunts, wineries, and breweries. Some hiking trails within 30 minutes that our dog loved as well. Such as the Finger Lakes National Forest. It had all items for cooking a meal at home too. Cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

"What a wonderful introduction to the Finger Lakes! We had a great post-holiday getaway - the house gives a front row seat to gorgeous lake views, we made a number of trips into downtown Ithaca which was a short and easy drive, we got to play in the snow both at the property and at a resort close by where we went tubing….we cannot rave about it all enough.
