Great location
Loved the location right in the sand and close to grocery stores and local restaurants. Appreciate the binder with local information - the recommended sushi place was a favorite. We could hear the sea lions barking from the house and they’re a short walk away on the beach!

Hollywood beach cottage
The neighborhood was great, and safe. Excellent location. However, there were not enough towels and washcloths for the duration of our stay. Sheets were not fresh. Overall, odor of all linens was not fresh/clean. The age and condition of home was showing. It was a good experience overall but for the price I might have elected to stay at a home with a better view and more luxury.

Was disappointed to have ants when we got up ours first morning. Would of liked an early worning about the tar.

Calm little cottage by the sea.
The location could not get better with this sweet little home. The home was perfect for our needs. It was an easy check in process. The home was clean and well thought out for guests. They left a handy information book that was impressive. The space felt like home. I would recommend this home.

The perfect little beach house
This is the perfect little beach house. The house is so comfortable and the beach decor is so cute. All of the furniture including beds and couches are super comfortable. The place was very clean and we'll maintained. The best part is that you are right on the sand. I literally can't wait to go again!

This was our second time staying at this location and it did not disappoint. The house is in a quite neighborhood and on the sand ! Overall the experience was great ! We will be returning again.

The perfect weekend
My family and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The fireplace was my absolute favorite and made relaxing in the living room more pleasant. The neighborhood was very quiet. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook all our meals. One plus, was the dishwasher - which in my experience is not a standard feature in past homes we've rented. My children loved that they were able to walk right out on the sand. There was even sand toys available for them to use. My children are already asking when they can go back to the the blue beach house!

Nice weekend at the beach
The house was nice, had a few glitches… When you sat in the living room, you can't see the water because the sand is higher than the window. Also, no electrical outlet in the bathroom and most of the electrical outlets in the house are very loose, so it was hard to keep anything plugged in. But the furniture was comfortable, kitchen was nice, no air-conditioning, but windows were opened and it was fine. Great location, great dog friendly beach.

Relaxing
We normally stay a little further south in the state but wanted a slower pace this time around. This place did not disappoint. It was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on a nice stretch of beach that had minimal traffic and not to many beach goer's. Very relaxing get away for out small family and we got to take our fur babies as well. Can't say enough good things about this location. We will definitely be back again.

Charming cottage
We absolutely loved our stay in this charming beach cottage! It was just the right size for our family of 4, and we LOVED that it was right on the beach. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the beds were comfy. It was so convenient and close to the marina for us to do fun activities on the water. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Great little house
We stay at the beach in Oxnard a LOT, always in rental houses. This rental is probably the best one we've ever had, and that's really saying something. It is adorable and perfect for a family of four. I love the room with the twin beds, because our kids would much rather sleep in twin beds than share a bed. The beach access is amazing, you just walk from the deck right onto the beach, and it is at the very southern end of Hollywood Beach, which is very quiet. The house was spotlessly clean and it was very easy to communicate with the property manager via text. The security deposit was promptly returned to us, in full, within about 2 weeks.

Summer break
With high temps of 65° During our July visit, this was the best escape from our 113° temps at home. The back porch leads to the beach where we spent hours watching boats and playing in the sand. The beach wasn’t busy at all. There are restaurants and museums nearby, with some in walking distance. This was a perfect getaway home.

Spectacular
Simple beach cottage with two bedrooms, one bath, and the beach right off the back porch. The house was perfect for my family and we wish we never had to leave. Splash in the ocean, explore the dunes, watch the sunset, and then listen to the waves as you drift off to sleep. What else could you ask for?

Amazing sunsets and a quiet beach.
We loved walking out of the back porch onto the beach! The view of nothing but beach, ocean, and the islands in the distance is lovely and we enjoyed our stay so much. The location is ideal with delicious seafood and conveniences nearby and it was safe and quiet. The updated kitchen was great for meal prep and we really appreciated the washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect and Quiet location
My two adult daughters and husband stayed here during Thanksgiving break. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Access to the beach is just a step away. We liked this location a lot as it seemed we had our own private beach. No crowds or rift raft, just a quiet location to relax and enjoy the sunsets and scenery. The kitchen was well appointed (just bring your own condiments if you are cooking and ice as the ice maker wasn't hooked up) and the beds were very comfortable. Grocery stores, restaurants and the marina were very close. All and all, it was a great and relaxing vacation.

Fantastic Stay
Property was spotless. The kitchen is extremely well appointed - it has everything you need to include sharp knives. Beds were comfortable. Not a lot of big storage - but all pieces of furniture had alternate storage uses so we were fine for the long weekend. Location was amazing. Quite a long walk to the water from the house - a protected swimming bay can be found out past the grassy sand dunes which is perfect for kids. We had a great stay and would stay here again. Only complaint was no electrical outlet in the bathroom.
