"Corola the property manager was amazing. The power had gone out in the area right before we got there, she was going to get us lanterns but it came back on so we called and let her know. Unfortunately the power only stayed on for 15 mins and then went back out the rest of the night. We disnt want to bother Corola to come out with the hope the power would come back on. Overall the property is very nice and bed was comfortable. Will need to visit again so we can really enjoy it more with power...

"I really liked how the nieghborhood was really peaceful, most of all I really liked how clean the property was. The beach is also a three minute drive which my kids love and the property also has a beautiful garden to enjoy a picnic. Overall it was a very beautiful experience and for a fare price. "We spent 8 lovely nights in Barry's Guest House on an extended vacation. He was SUCH a wonderful host! Proactive in sharing information and very responsive when we had any questions. We had been to Las Vegas and Disneyland prior to arrival in Carmel. What a pleasant change! The cottage had everything we could possibly need. "I had a great experience at Driftwood last week. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and it's a five minute walk to the beach. Driftwood is bright and sunny. I loved the outdoor spaces - both the front yard with the fire pit and backyard hot tub. I cooked every night in the lovely, well-equipped kitchen. It was a perfect stay and I look forward to returning soon!"

"Check in was not as expected. Staff was rude when asked about Tax exemption telling me they didnt do it. Told me to request it to Chamber of Commerce and only when I insisted her to clarify, she gave me a post it with an address and phone. When I contacted the Chamber after I come back home, they told me that was not accurate and suggest to contact hotel. Other members of staff were polite and amazing."
