Cute property in a great location. Nicely updated while maintaining original charm. Minor issues with hot water in one of the showers. Super clean, had everything we needed. Information about staying at the property, including specific instructions, were clear & to-the-point. We were 4 adult occupants to the 6 or 7 max limit; 3 adults sharing one of the 2 tiny bathrooms for a week was a bit...challenging. I couldn't recommend it for 6 or 7 adults who are accustomed to more space but we did enjoy our stay there.

Cozy House Near Beach was Perfect Family Retreat

We had a great stay over New Year’s Eve. We walked to the downtown area where there were several restaurants, coffee shops, and markets. We walked to the aquarium along the beach which was beautiful, a bit windy that day but we were bundled up. The home is well supplied with all cooking supplies and had extra blankets and good WiFi and we appreciated the organized kitchen and communication. We had several meals around the large dining room table that had a bench on one side so could seat up to seven (although we had 5). The complimentary wine, cheese, and crackers was a nice touch! A great home away from home.

Great Location , Cute Place

Great experience, perfect location. We took our adult son and his girlfriend for a family trip. Stayed 3nights was very clean and had everything we could need. Cute beach cottage !

Great Little House!

We enjoyed our stay in Pacific Grove at Seagull's Nest. Walking distance to the Aquarium, Lover's Point, bike path, farmer's market, and downtown restaurants. Little market also close by. We traveled with son, DIL, and toddler. It was great to have a dining area and kitchen traveling with a toddler as we ended up doing a lot of take out and eating at home. Living area was fine for 4 adults; would be tight with 6. Beds were comfortable and house was overall, well appointed. We would stay again.

Great little house by the sea

This is a sweet little place walking distance from everything in Pacific Grove and 5 min drive from the aquarium. strong recommend!

Seagull’s Nest is delightful!

Delightful stay in a charming home. It has a well stocked kitchen, was clean and very comfortable for our stay. Nice location, making many areas walkable. Quiet. Lovely backyard area.

Rennsport weekend

We loved the house! It was very nice, clean & conveniently located. The location was great. Restaurants only a block away, we loved the Victorian restaurant for breakfast! The kitchen was well stocked. We ate out mostly but did eat breakfast there. Would have liked a regular toaster, the toaster oven didn’t work very good. Would definitely stay again. We have 2 golden retrievers & it was nice to have a backyard & walking to the Lover’s Point Park was so nice. Great ocean front!

Great house and location

Family of 5 adults stayed there for my sons wedding in Carmel. It was an easy location to wherever we needed to go. I was up early every morning walking the path along the ocean. Great coffee, lunch and dinner right around the corner. Home was immaculate and had everything we needed. Parking was easy in front of the house. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Place

This house was so lovely! Great area, super clean and really comfortable. Right in the perfect spot of town. We were here for a business trip from Impact Lighting Audio and Video and it was a great home for our staff. Would absolutely recoomend!

Cute house in the perfect location

My family had a great stay at the seagull house. The house is very cozy and has a nice ocean view. The kitchen is well appointed and we had no trouble finding everything we needed to cook during our stay. The upstairs bedrooms get a little warm during the day but opening the windows cools it right off! The only small incident we had during our stay was the fire alarm was beeping and in need of a new battery. It was a simple fix and the management company was very quick to reply to my messages. Really not a big deal but worth mentioning because they were really responsive. The house is in a great (and very walkable!) location. We saw deer in the morning multiple times (a big hit for our 6 yr old) and did a lot of exploring in the neighborhood. The restaurants nearby are quite good too. This house is definitely a solid choice if you’re headed to the Pacific Grove/Monterey/Carmel area.

Fantastic Food, Shopping, and Friendliness

The cottage was more conveniently located than we anticipated. We could walk to the beach in 4 minutes and to fabulous restaurants and shops in 2! We especially enjoyed the numerous antique shops and boutiques close by. We didn't need to purchase anything extra. The kitchen and bathrooms provided everything we needed for our stay including coffee filters, baggies, soap and shampoo etc. The part of our trip that struck me the most was the genuine kindness of the people in Pacific Grove. Whether it was the staff calling to check on our stay, a waitress, a shop owner, or someone on the street asking if we needed directions. Everyone was friendly, generous, and considerate. We appreciated the luxury linens, towels, and comfortable beds. We will definitely be back.
