Amazing
This was a great weekend away. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. Had a great time fishing and deer in the yard every day. At most lake locations, we have someone in the family who has trouble with the steep walks down to the lake. This property made it very easy for them to make it down to the lake and back up with no problems. It was perfect and we will be staying again in the future!

Excellent place for spring break
I cannot say anything negative about our stay! They provided most everything needed and even had everything labeled around the house so you knew how to work something. Fire pit down by the dock was great and the solo stove up on the deck was awesome as well. The children loved the kayaks and we had a lot of luck catching fish. Great stay and we will be back!

Beautiful AND accessible!
The location is amazing - deer roaming the backyard in the early morning and the house and property are fully wheelchair accessible. Hosts are great and have done an amazing job of making this home a welcoming and enjoyable vacation home for a person in a chair.

Great Vacation Property
We knew this was going to be a great property to stay at when booking it, but the experience upon arrival was better than expected. The views were great and property clean. The kitchen was one of the most well-appointed ones I've ever stayed at! I highly recommend staying at Kentucky Deer Run!

We had great time at the place. The property is recently renovated and clean. The host is very helpful and welcoming. The area is beautiful and filled with wildlife. Private dock rocks. Tip: pay attention to boat rental suggestion in welcome email from host.

Peaceful easy feeling
Everything we needed, a great family vacation. The property is impeccable. Our hosts were wonderful. The pictures are good, property is even better. Spacious, perfect deck, great yard for our dogs to run, quiet cove with dock to enjoy the lake, top quality kitchen, supplies, linens. Ping pong table was a fun option for evening. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect in every way !
Could not have gotten a better place. Everything you could need is there. For a family that loves to cook it was perfect. Loved the house, the property was beautiful as was the area. Our 2 dogs certainly loved it We have stayed in many Vrbo all over and abroad and have one so well stocked. We also loved the bird watching ! Incredible and close to a bald eagle preserve. They gave us a great show. Already planning out trip back!

Wheelchair Accessible
With the exception of the shower, the whole property was wheelchair accessible. A 4ft wide sidewalk led to the dock and to the lower level. Also, the entrance was ramped to the front door. No problem for the chair to enter the deck area. Large king-size bed in the owner's suite. Everything was available... don't worry if you forgot something. Dish detergent, trash bags, bug spray, marshmallow sticks for the fire, air compressor etc. All the kitchen tools were top-of-the-line. All-Clad pans etc. We had a great time. The boat dock was totally accessible for a wheelchair as well. Our 3 and 4-year-old grandchildren loved swimming in the lake. The concrete dock pad went out 15 -20 feet and wasn't but about 5.5 ft deep. Not much boat traffic so the water was calm. The owner swept off the pad for us so it was nice & clean for swimming. Amazing property. Not many nearby stores for food so bring your food with you. When we left we ate breakfast at JoJo's in Benton. The service and food was fantastic! Thank You.

Fantastic Lake House!
Kentucky Deer Run has everything you could possibly want in a house! The kitchen/dining/living room has ample space for everyone. And the kitchen has everything you would need for cooking so no need for bringing anything from home. The bedrooms have the most comfortable beds and linens. The gradual walkway decline in the backyard to the fishing/swimming/boat dock is great for those with limited mobility and the concrete ramp into the water is also a game changer. Lastly the deck off the living room with the fire pit is so relaxing, whether you are having your cup of coffee in the morning or a beverage or s'mores in the evening. I could go on and on (as I have) about this house but it really is great. And Sharon is the perfect host and always available with answers to your questions. We will definitely rent again!
