"May be one of the best places I’ve stayed at. I was able to relax, and feel at peace. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had a well set up kitchen, three lanai and lovely decor. The beauty of the surroundings was wonderful; trees, plants, ocean, and our own good luck gecko:). The owners were kind and respectful of our time there. Putting my phone away for a bit, other than taking photos also increased my joy. Thank you David and ClayWe hope to be back again soon!"

"Place was amazing, it was quite, except for the frogs at night, but they didn't bother me at all. There is no AC , but with the fans on and windows open it was fine. "Loved it !!! Great location. Beautiful, spacious and clean !!! Fantastic views and the sound of crashing waves was amazing. The pool was the grandkids' favorite thing to do in Hawaii. The kitchen was huge and the check-in was very easy. We hope to come back someday. And the mystery is solved. I thought the house looked familiar. After I got home, I found a picture of the same house with the pool. We had stayed there in 2009 !!! "

"Sitting listening to the ocean waves is very relaxing. The sun doesn't shine directly on the deck, which I truly enjoyed. I did want the chairs to fully recline. The Lava Flats are close by and worth a visit. The black sand beach has no easy access route that we were able to find. My next trip to the Big Island, I will look for this rental. I did find the key box a little difficult to open and the laundry room instructions takes you to the wrong side of the house."
