Super Comfy and Dog Friendly!
Absolutely loved our stay! One of our favorites so far! Very dog friendly. Our girls loved walking the trails and playing back at the cabin in the fenced in area. Felt completely safe letting them off leash to play. The Cabin is super cute and well stocked with some basics for humans and fur babies! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

A beautiful cottage on a beautiful property. We had a lot of fun hiking through the trails and the proximity to Bastrop makes everything super accessible.

Nicely done
The house had everything one would need to be comfortable with pets. There were only two glitches - the fenced yard was fenced with wire that was larger in format than hog wire- so my 7 pound dog could walk right through it 😬. The other was more our fault - we didn’t know how to operate the thermostats, and the temperature dropped pretty quickly. However, the owner and his daughter responded immediately to get us warmed up. Otherwise, we were very pleased, and would recommend it to anyone planning a stay in that area.

Had a great time with family and 2 cats.
I was very glad that this property allowed my family to spend our vacation in Paige with our cats. It was great fun! The land around the cottage is beautiful, and the hiking trails are simple but sufficient. The fire pit made perfect smores. The DVD/Blu-ray disc player and games brought some evening entertainment for the family too. The only complaint is that the location can be easily overlooked when driving along the highway, but its not something to turn away from. The house and yard are definitely worth it!

5-Day Getaway
5 day vacation with my wife. Very nice cottage in a very cute town with everything you need close by. Visited the local parks for the hiking trails, downtown for some shopping and a very nice dinner. Nice to get away from the city but still not feel too far from civilization.

Highly recommend!
What a perfect place for our girls getaway. It was clean and comfortable with lots of amenities and beautifully decorated for the Fall season. Our hosts were very helpful when we asked them for suggestions of places to eat. The location was great, 12 minutes from downtown Bastrop. Loved roasting marshmallows for s’mores over the fire pit in the backyard. Note the half mile gravel road to the cottage from the main road if that concerns you, but we had no problem with it. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Seemed too good to be true, it was better
Loved our (dog and my) stay. The pictures seemed too good to be true, but we loved it even more. The dog loved the yard and hiking on property. Mama loved the proximity to some of our favorite places.

Amazing
My husband and I with our 2 pups were extremely satisfied with our stay. Everything was perfect just as I imagined it would be if not better. I am one who comes prepared for anything so I brought one of my very own blankets, sheet and pillow case, to find out I didn’t even need it, because everything was so nice and clean. We had an awesome time and will definitely come back again. Thank you for a blissful weekend

Had la little problem with locating turn off HW 21 (old man with no GPS} but pleasantly surprised with Cottage amenities and condition. Trip was a recon for later fishing trip to LCRA lake and Buescher State Park Lake. Have made future reservations Sept, Oct and Nov. Need info on how to cancel Sept 10-12 reservation HA. - OZGOPT.Have re-scheduled for cooler weather.

Getaway Hideaway
Lovely cottage surrounded by quiet woods. We wanted quiet and seclusion with an opportunity to shop and dine if we desired (12 minute drive). This place was perfect! Clean, quiet, responsive hosts. A++ Be aware there is a half-mile uneven gravel road (that does hold some water in heavy rain) leading up to the property.

Relaxing stay just outside of Austin!
My dog and I had a great time staying at this cottage in the woods. We were so relaxed hanging out on the big porch. There was so much shade that we could actually spend the afternoon outside (in the summer heat!). The home is clean with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of AC and fans to keep cool after going for a walk on the trails. A perfect weekend!

Cozy cottage
The cottage was cozy and a great stay for a few days. Perfect get away for a couple looking to disconnect or a small family. The area is beautiful and the owners offer every amenity. We spent most of the time at the cottage and it was perfect.

Did Not Stay- AC didn’t work
I’m only writing this bc I keep getting emails from VRBO to rate. We arrived at the property at the scheduled time. It was clean. The AC didn’t work. We left and got a refund. No drama. Cost $200 round trip in gas money.

Exceeeded our expectations. The host did a great job on the details. Right down to a professional style pizza cutter. (Rocking style). We made pizza . Soap, shampoo, all present. Water in the fridge. AC was on as well as fans when we arrived. Beautiful location and well appointed insude. Best place for us in a VRBO to date. Bastrop wanted more than this place for a hotel room. Star Link internet was flawless. No neighbors in site. Nice and private, but only 15 minutes to everything.
