MARAVILLOSA ESTANCIA

Una preciosa casa en un barrio auténtico de Palermo. La casa con sus preciosa decoración y terrazas, era un contrapunto muy agradable a la agitada vida del turista. La propietaria nos recibió con todo agrado y nos explicó con todo detalle. La casa estaba muy bien equipada y todo fue muy cómo y agradable. Son cuatro pisos sin ascensor, pero estaba advertido en el anuncio y salvo problemas de movilidad, merece la pena. Tuvimos algo de ruido nocturno por la fiesta de la liberación, pero las puertas y ventanas cerraban con muy buen aislante y no te enterabas casi. En resumen, excelente alojamiento.

Our stay at Concetta's apartment was excellent. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities that you could need. The beds were very comfortable and the terrace was huge and perfect for the evening drinking wine and easing cheese and olives. Concetta was on hand when we needed her and gave us lots of information about the local area and buses.

Beautiful roof terrace apartment in lively city

We had the most amazing stay at this beatiful apartment. The host communicated very quickly and was kind and helpful. Super reasonalby priced for such a great flat and great location for us. 10/10 would stay again, thank you Concetta!

Above the Hustle

We stayed in Palermo for a wine business trip and spent the majority of our 3 days on the road. Using the terrace, Wi-Fi and desks were essential to us. 2 separated bedrooms also good. As with most large cities in Italy, parking is always a challenge so we used the paid parking 2 blocks east of the apartment. If you want Sicilian culture, not a tourist culture, this is the place to be since the neighborhood is all Sicilians going about with their own lifestyle, day and night. Palermo is also known to be the street food capital in Sicily.

It is affordable, has lots of space, and a huge rooftop terrace. It was perfect for the three of us. The property manager, Concetta, went out of her way to provide information and tips throughout our stay.

Short on Delivery

Terrific pictures, with numerous rooms, an absolutely beautiful roof terrace, in a very good and very convenient neighbourhood. But, in reality, during a period of high heat, the apartment is far too hot to be comfortable, despite it having 4 air conditioners. I arrived to an apartment that was dark and shut up tight. No air. It was STIFLING heat. Could the owners son have turned on air before I arrived? I was asked - begged - to 'not turn on more than one at a time'. So, I didn't. This meant that the room we were in was comfortable, but we had little access to other rooms because they were so so hot. It was 38C degrees outside, and I can guarantee it was as hot inside, maybe hotter. I did not sleep one night in the master bedroom, because the air con started dripping all over the beautiful wooden floors, and I didn't want the floors ruined, so I turned it off, went in the sitting room, unfolded a sofa bed which was hellishly uncomfortable. Really truly awful to sleep on. I mentioned the broken AC to the owner, who apologised, saying a technician could not be there until after I was gone. I did not have a good nights sleep while I was there, and I was glad to leave. Sincerely, in my view, the host fell short. Beds have to be decent. They can't be lumpy, saggy, uncomfortable. Air systems have got to work, When they stop working, they need to be fixed. 'Begging' the guests NOT to turn on the air in more than one room is not hosting. It is dictating. Sorry, Not recommended.

Très agréable mais...

L'appartement est très agréable et spacieux et la terrasse très appréciable. Par contre, le quartier, bien que proche de tous les commerces utiles, est très sale (tas d'immondices et de poubelles dans les rues) et bruyant. Le samedi soir, nous avons du supporter un "concours" de tunning proposé par des voitures, toutes fenêtres ouvertes, garées dans la rue et qui ont fait un tel vacarme jusque 3h du matin que les vitres de l'appartement en vibraient!

Bel espace extérieur avec plantes vertes et transats

Appartement très grand avec 2 belles terrasses Situé dans un quartier animé les vendredis et le samedis soir sont relativement bruyant jusque vers 2h du matin . Bien situé par rapport au centre ville ( si on aime marcher )et par rapport au bus aéroport. Petits commerces alimentaires très proches .

Wunderschöne Zeit

Wir waren eine Woche in Palermo und haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohlgefühlt, es war alles da, was gebraucht wurde, von der klimanlage bis zu salz und pfeffer. Die Lage ist etwas schräg, nachts ein bisschen laut, aber 100 m in irgendeine Richtung waren gute lokale, kneipen. Der bus war auch nicht weit weg, man konnte auch viele der touristischen ecken erlaufen. Highlight ist aber die Terasse und wenn nicht eine sehr interessante Stadt gelockt hätte, wären wir sicher dort sitzen geblieben. Sehr empfehlenswert.
