Weekend getaway
What a charming cabin! Secluded from all the hectic traffic and set in a quiet neighborhood, but a short drive to beaches. We’ve stayed at dozens of VRBOs, but this was the cleanest, most quiet place we’ve been to. Nicole has thought of everything a guest should need. And we loved all the mermaid theming! Highly recommend the Zen Cabin!

Zen Cabin
Comfortable and clean accommodations for a couple. Common amenities (i.e. kitchen utensils, silverware and dishes; spices and condiments; toilet paper; etc.) for our stay were plentiful. The Zen Cabin is located near many major highways, making for easy access to the Tampa Bay area (to the north), the Sarasota Bay area (to the south), or “cracker country” (to the east).

We truly loved our stay at Zen Cabin!! We found everything we needed and so much more! The owner definitely pays attention to details. The house is well stocked with the essentials but it was the extras that made it special. Nightlights, Beach needs, bedside lights, and more. Above and beyond any rental we have ever used!

Awesome stay
Absolutely gorgeous spotless house beautifully decorated with attention to even little details. Much better than on the photos! Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking, great bedroom and dining room, beautiful big private fenced backyard with direct access to the cute pond. Nicole is truly awesome host and we’re beyond grateful for all her advices and prompt responses to our questions. We’ll appreciate to stay at Nicole’s property again when we’re back at this area. And location is the best in the area - close to everything! The nearest cute beach is Bahia beach at the bay in Ruskin - just 20 min away!!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful house, Nicole!!!

Beautiful spot in a quiet neighborhood. Close to all the major highways for trips to the beach, state parks, hiking and biking areas. Excellent host. The Zen cabin was even nicer then the pictures, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nicole!

Great getaway!
This place is very nice. The pictures are accurate and it’s actually more spacious than it looks. I went with my partner and it was perfect for a romantic spot for two. It was very accommodating with towels, appliances, and kitchenware. You can tell it’s very well kept and every detail is attended to. We had no issues with registration or checking in. Pretty hassle free! Once it was paid and we had communication with the property manager there was nothing else to worry about. The location has good spots too. It’s not too far away from Tampa and other areas. Very close to Bradenton and the Anna Maria island which has some gorgeous beaches. We definitely plan to visit again!

PERFECT !!!
It was everything as stated. Photos are accurate. Privacy fence allows just that. Very quiet neighborhood....never heard a peep....no dogs, nothing. We cooked every meal on site. Never left the property. Romantic lighting, music, shower...... perfect location for a "chill" time with your special someone. Nicole is awesome. Checked on us at arrival time by text to make sure we were ok.....checked on us again at check out, again, to see if we were ok....... Tremendous host. Just can't say enough. Thank you Nicole.
